Parallax has a few basic requirements. Check the description, there are links to other Vanilla Complex Parallax mods that provide everything you need to get started. Download all of them. You also need a few other mods: a dynamic snow mod like Better Dynamic Snow 2.11 - Definitive Edition, (for Dragonborn specifically) a dynamic ash mod like Shaders of Solstheim - Ash and Moss, as well as the bug fix mods Terrain Parallax Blending Fix and SSE Engine Fixes. You can choose between ENBSeries or Community Shaders for the shader features that enable parallax. Remember to disable the vanilla snow shader(bEnableImprovedSnow=0) and enable land shadows(bDrawLandShadows=1) in SkyrimPrefs.ini, these changes are required for parallax. These should be all you need for it to at least work correctly, and you can build up your mod choices from there.

When using lighting mods like Lux, how should the priority go?

Sir devikyn, you use ENB or CS?

    Thank you for all these!!

Also hoping someone has some advice. I seem to be having a landscape issue in Solstheim. I've cleared my enb cache and looked for any conflicting files, but I can't figure out what's causing it:

Everywhere else looks fine. Just the ash landscape is giving me issues for some reason. Tried disabling everything else, no luck. My best guess is I'm missing something but I haven't a clue what.

Hi, thank you for the appreciation! Make sure to grab Terrain Parallax Blending Fix as it solves this problem and fixes a lot of blending issues with landscape objects.

I do have it! I believe I did the Full version. But still having the spiky terrain on this ash landscape texture.

I appreciate the help by the way. I haven't used much parallax until I saw these awesome vanilla ones.

I did also notice I have the same issue with this wall texture. All mods disabled except your files, SkyHUD, Parallax TXST Fixes and ENB (tried with and without AutoParallax). I haven't a clue what I've got wrong.

Oh, you're totally right. I have an unreleased version of TPBF that fixes this, but the Nexus version is bugged. I'll release an update soon to address it. Thanks and sorry about that!

Oh gosh that's a relief! I've been googling "spiky parallax bug" and trying various things I found and pulling my hair out. Parallax is new territory for me and I was convinced I must have messed something up. Thank you for looking into it!!

Hi, try version 3.1.1 on the TPBF page. It should support Dawnguard and Dragonborn now.

Thank you! I've been downloading each update you've put out. The ash landscape texture is totally fixed and looks great! The wall pillars (and a section of the archway on the ground that shares the same texture) on the way out of Raven Rock are still a bit funky for me though.

I mean, it doesn't look bad really, it's just not what I expected the texture of that stone to be lol.

You're right, that one was bugged. 1.1 should fix it!

It's amazing how much better the vanilla world looks with parallax. I wouldn't have believed it had you not done this.

Incredible effort from you, after all these years seeing the vanilla parallax mods you've been steadily releasing has inspired me to play through Skyrim with its vanilla aesthetic for the first time since 2011. Seems like you've just about covered everything, excluding certain gears and items, do you intend to release an AIO to cover the entire game? Thanks for contributing to the modding community!

hello devikyn, we need diffuse snow textures maded by you, the diffuse patch from patchub is for vanilla skyrim, not works with your parallax textures.

ProjectedDiffuse Patch Hub at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
    from this patchub.

Wow. I believe you covered all game + DLCs!

Any parallax needed for Hearthfire? Like that oven mesh for example.

Yes, there's a bunch of stuff in Hearthfire that can benefit from parallax. There are also some actors, equipment, and plants to do. Getting there, though!
