About this mod

Adapts the fantastic cloak mod "Cloaks of Skyrim" so that it uses SkyPatcher and optionally SPID for seamless, conflict-free integration.

RMB SkyPatched - adapts "Cloaks of Skyrim" to use SkyPatcher, hooking into my RMB SPIDifed - Core Framework for maximum compatibility in NPC distribution.

It doesn't require SPID itself, but does require my framework due to the shared ESP/resources, which allows for indirect integration into SPID patches built on it.

Stripped files of edits to Leveled Lists, Outfits and NPCs
Various SkyPatcher configs with tweaks and fixes - more information under the tweaking section
Compacted FormIDs and Flagged Cloaks and Cloaks - Dawnguard.esp as ESL files, to avoid using LO spots
Combined all three plugins into one, with a custom name to prevent old patches from being used
Migrated all relevant changes to SkyPatcher operations
USSEP Patch is no longer needed - a dummy file "Cloaks - USSEP Patch.esp" is included
Fully compatible with HDT-SMP (just don't use their provided ESP files), retextures and remeshes
Injects Cloaks into a Leveled List Framework, which itself is injected into various outfits, Leveled Lists and even distributed via SPID

Install Cloaks of Skyrim
Remove or hide the Cloaks.esp, Cloaks - Dawnguard.esp, and Cloaks - USSEP.esp
Install SkyPatcher, RMB SPID - Core, and (recommended) Spell Perk Item Distributor. See requirements for links and details
Install HDT-SMP or similar if desired. Remove or hide Cloaks_SMP_Patch.esp
Install cloak texture replacers
Install RMB SPCH - Cloaks of Skyrim

Tweaks
Location: SKSE\Plugins\SkyPatcher\armor\Cloaks - CoS\Tweaks.ini

All of these tweaks are enabled by default, but can be removed by removing the respective line or commenting it out with a semi-colon.

Add pickup and putdown sounds to all Cloaks
Remove hiding of tails for Cloaks
Disallow cloaks from being enchanted
Add survivalCold keywords
Remove armor coverage for better C.O.C.K.S support
Sets the weight for all of the cloaks

Weaker Enchants
Location: SKSE\Plugins\SkyPatcher\armor\Cloaks - CoS\WeakerEnchants.ini

This file controls the enchantments used by the generic cloaks - by default weaker versions of the enchantments are distributed. Delete this file or comment out the lines to restore the previous enchantments.

Names
Location: SKSE\Plugins\SkyPatcher\armor\Cloaks - CoS\Names.ini

This config gives you the ability to adjust the names of the various cloaks.

RMB SPIDified - Core v5.0.0 and onward now features an esp "RMB SPID - Core.esp" that sponsors a large array of LeveledLists. Cloaks are added directly to these LeveledLists, which can be referenced in SPID outfits via plugin dependency or distributed via SkyPatcher. Furthermore these LeveledLists can also be distributed via SPID itself without worrying about duplicate cloaks.

_cos.refs is included in the package, containing references to LLIs used
SKSE\Plugins\SkyPatcher\leveledList\Cloaks - CoS contains Cloaks.esp.ini, which distributes cloaks to the RMB SPID - Core LLIs
SKSE\Plugins\SkyPatcher\npc\Cloaks - CoS contains Cloaks.esp.ini which distributes unique cloaks to Dragon Priests, for example

How does it work?

RMB SPID - Core provides a number of Inner Sublists, Flat Lists, and Outer Lists
Capes and Cloaks are added to Inner Sublists and Flat Lists
Inner Sublists feed into Outer Lists
Flat & Outer Lists can then be added to other Leveled Lists, Outfits, and NPCs via SkyPatcher -- or be distributed with SPID
These outer lists will only distribute a single item
SkyPatcher can add to these Inner and Flat Lists without manual or bashed patching needed
