    Heya! I love your previous mod for Whiterun and I use it with another Whiterun retexture to have your flora.
    What is the difference between these two mods of yours? I've read both descriptions but I'm not a native-speaker so it's a bit hard to understand for me. Sorry if the question is somewhat stupid.

      No its not a bad question. The original mod was going on half a decade old for one and was pretty dead few people were using it. This refresh moved around a lot of the plants and fixed any plants that looked like they were floating etc and also included a new patch for a tree mod I like on Nexus. The bigger change was that the mod was compacted and made ESL. This means I have to change the name otherwise it will cause issues for users via breaking their saves. I also made it so the textures were all optional and re-created from scratch all of the parallax textures. Additionally I now include a new wall texture previously not apart of the original mod that you can see in the screenshots and also I created a parallax texture for that wall as well.

      From the old mods original launch about 5 years ago the mod has completely changed and is unrecognizable from what it once was. Originally I had to modify all the meshes and create hundreds of texture set mapping records in order for the mod to work and for the ground to be covered in grass this also meant I had too many records to make it ESL. Since then over the years I have learned how to make  custom textures myself and create proper alpha channel enabled textures to encourage seamless blending. This mean I no longer needed to include any meshses and cut down the texture set mapping from hundreds to 5 records. This also meant after gutting so much of the mod that I was now far under the ESL limit and was able to ESL the mod. This recent refresh is a rework of textures as i said but also a polished state from placement of objects etc. Also I hated the name lol and am really happy with the new name.

    Hi there it's me again, I changed Fortified Whiterun to Whiterun has wall and found few clipping at the entrance to gildegreen and the stair whitch right in the whiterun gate(sorry for my english, its too sick to discribe where things are) .

    and one more my personal wish, could you make a version that has more trees? I know it's nearly impossible since this MOD has to intergrate with many whiterun overhaul MODs. but as I said, just a personal wish, no matter it can be done or what I will take your MOD in my load order ;)

      it sounds like its minor partial clipping of bush or branch a little into something - so yea its not something on my radar to attempt to look at - For what its worth Nexusbla18 and me we both fine combed for everything and i think we got basically everything minus maybe a bush or tree branch and things slightly clippping - which just dont merit a rework but that said its totally okay to ask! Your English is excellent just keep working on it and using it and it will come naturally - its a hard language to learn. Make sure you are using option 3 also - that version is for basically every whiterun altering mod. Unfortunately when it comes to adding more trees - that was done in the base mod but the version for every whiterun altering mod the reverse is done. The trees are deleted or disabled to compensate for all the mods out there. Its just not possible to add more trees when you are trying to fit this mod into other mods. That said my only recommendation would be to use the base version of this mod or just the JK's version of this mod with no other whiterun mod (other than JK's if you use that version) to maximize the amount of trees in town.

      Thanks for your replying, the trees are just OK if I choose fortfied whiterun.nothig wrong with it.
      and about more trees, I plan to learn some simple CK editing methods for my further game playing. puting  some trees just seems not a hard work.
      So I'll do it myself some day, and still love your MOD ;)

      Cant help you unfortunately. The first screenshot and the tower screenshot all those I already fixed in the 1.2 update so to that end I dont know what to tell you. context is that the first screenshot off behind the companions house and the other is on the way up to dragonsreach. I also tested it on my game and had no issues they were gone. All I did was disable them. Cant help with USSEP btw i dont touch USSEP records. Or want to avoid it moving forward at least. I also only know where you are because I already fixed those areas like I said but otherwise i would have needed a description of where that is with a screenshot but yea.. cant help I already fixed it. no idea about plants on the wall though could be something else up with another mod or something i have no idea also I dont know where that is.

      Now you either installed the wrong version and based on the last screenshot if i recall right this might be the issue by the way, (you should have selected the 3rd option in the fomod - which is the version of this mod for every Whtierun altering mod) or need try it on a new game maybe see if they are disabled - if so given how this mod has no scripts and is only placed objects you probs could uninstall - save - then reinstall the mod and load the save that had it previously uninstalled from that likely would fix it for you. This type of style mod and given how light it is - its safe and fine to do - no navmesh no nothing its just placed objects off to the side - you have me for today and then im moving on from this project - its dead and getting no downloads and doesn't merit the work im putting in lol. speak now or forever hold your peace.

      Yeah were right about the version. I installed JKs Whiterun only. This fixed the issues with tower and the first screenshot.
      Rest is still there.

      Screenshot two is near the bannered mare.
      "Market stand" is right at the beginning in front of the drunken huntsman

      The last one is to the left from dragonsreach, when you follow the path

      The path from dragons reach is not from fortified Whiterun its another mod. Same with the stand at the entrance. Either way I have resolved both areas and fixed the clipping. Thank you for telling me about the floating plants on the wall. They were hidden and hard to see but yes They needed to be removed as they were left over from the development of this mod.

      I think* they are moved from JK's because I built the original JK's version using JK's as a base. Otherwise JK's Skyrim and specifically whiterun was updated. Or another mod used in tandem with JK's moved them. In any case thank you and I gave you credit for helping - you were very helpful directing me exactly where i needed to go and showcasing pictures.       Guess you just use JK's Skyrim. But there is JK's Whiterun (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2259), too.
      JK probably changed some stuff in JK's Skyrim, but since I didn't want to include the AIO in my modlist, I went with the separate version.

    Hey, mod looks good! However, the JK's Skyrim version has one tree clipping with JKs Bannered Mare.
    Could you please remove it?

    EDIT: also the TreeThickets on the left at the main gate (in front of the guards house) are clipping with Lux Orbis brazier.

      Use this web site to upload a picture of where and which tree so I know what to edit out and respond with a link here. I cant know what your talking about just on text alone unfortunately. I spent 3 hours deleting trees for JK's Whiterun and in the 15 years this mod has been around I havent heard of a clipping issue but that doesnt mean it doesnt exist and im happy to clean things a little more if needed BUT you may be using another* mod that might be messing with trees or objects and if thats the case I would just also recommend quick trying the other file that is meant for JK's Skyrim and every other mod as many trees have been deleted and might not have the issue you are seeing. Also you may want to confirm that the object its clipping with does come from JK's and of course confirm that the tree clipping comes from my mod and that you are for sure using the JK's whiterun version.

      Fixed... the tree was behind the inn in the back left probs why no one noticed it before. Shrubs were off because i reposed them when using pfuschers mod and he changed the mesh shape which... bad move but whatever i fixed the shrubs they will look great now. Had nothing to do with Lux.

    not compatible with this MOD, It added a watch tower at the left of jorrvaskr, trees are at the same place

      Hey man - like legit totally okay to ask me to nix a tree no big deal but comon dude lol - not compatible is strong words for saying 1 tree clips in a tower and another tree has a couple branches that go into the tower wall. Like that aint game ending the mods work fine together, there was just some clipping there.

      In any case I appreciate you sharing the mod, it looks great - I took time to update the version for every other mod to make it work seamless with Fortified Whiterun.  The update is live right now I hope you enjoy mate :)

      Sorry for my English, actually I just started to learn English for these couple of mouth, just because I want to be able to communicate with people from Nexus. I didn't realize "not compatible" is such a huge word, note that in my note book, thank you.

      Your English is good mate sincerely no worries lol - usually not compatible means the mods do not work together and cannot usually be used together. Anyway rock on thanks for letting me know and thank you for sharing some positivity :)

    Safe to update mid game I assume? Having visited Whiterun before but as long as outside of Whiterun on load?

      The update was only for users using the mod "Fortified Whiterun" and the only file in my mod that was updated was the file for basically every mod that alters whiterun the catch all file (option 3 in the fomod installer). If you are not using the mod Fortified Whiterun you dont have to update if you dont want to - but yes you can update safely mid game or whenever and no it does not matter if you are in town or not. I just disabled like 3 trees that clipped with a tower in Fortified Whiterun.

    I really like your mod, I'm using only the trees and they fit very well - the only contra is that many trees are conflicting some tree overlapping with the walls from Ryn's Whiterun CIty Limits  - since it's a very popular mod, is there any chance of a patch from you? I could make it by myself but recently I can barely find some time for playing :-/

      I unfortunately do not understand. When i install Ryn's Whiterun City Limits I see no overlap or clipping at all. I am happy to nix the 10 or so trees etc.. i honestly would just nix the entire Skyrim record which only places a handful of spill over plants just immediately outside whtierun but i cannot see any clipping or issue using both my mod and that mod.... regardless ill make a patch(?) which has no exterior record edits since it only takes 2 clicks to delete all of them and the effort is low but i dont think there is a use for it. I looked for 30 min and just couldnt find a issue anywhere.

      Actually here is a picture a user that used this mod shared with me which I think uses Ryn's Whiterun City Limits with my mod and he also had no issues:

      Mmmh...no idea of what that picture should demonstrate, but do not worry : I have checked again and it looks like there is only 1 tree overlapping, as you can see in the pics below. In any case even if I'll find out others, I will take care of them by myself, no need to get nervous .  Maybe a good chance for me to test B.O.S. w/o using the CK.

      Update - while i was looking at the mod files and touching things up i noticed that this single tree you identified as clipping was already adressed and removed in the version for basically "every other mod" its name is like for JK's, Dawn of Skryim, and Every Other Mod. Thats the version you should have been using since you are using "every other mod" that is modifying whiterun.

    FPS count on this bud could you tell ??

    I am using vanilla textures cause can not overload my game so with that in mind this brings new textures and trees we all know spike frame rates ??

      Thought I thank you a lot , and this looks stunning , I regret to tell you that there is a massive FPS drop at least for me , I use a GTX 1050 Ti GPU, I know its old but I can't change for a better one for now , and with your mod installed I got from 30 FPS inside with run that is Vanilla without any overalls but NPC and graphic texture  improvements  , and I got a drop of between 10 to 15 FPS inside the city ,  so this means it went from 30 FPS down to either 20 and 15 in some spots ...

      Its not your fault at all bud , its my poor GPU that doesn't handle overloads...It looks amazing but Not made for My kind of Rig so far !

      Thank you so much , cause even so the mod loaded and I had no CTD issues or anything but the FPS , that I am sure it will cause later on CTD if I let your mod stay in my Load Order ... 

      But like I said , not your fault or mine by the way , but life has its priorities and a new updated GPU its not a primordial need for me now !

      dang well sorry man - yea someone else said they use a NVIDIA GTX1070 8GB VRAM and had no issues and saw no FPS loss I assumed given that the 1070 is like 6 years old and before TI's even came out that would mean no one should have a performance inpact but yea i guess if your on a 1050 you lose 10 fps then...

    Just a question is there a reason for the few trees outside the city? I installed the Dawn of Skyrim option

      Yes - so if you are looking just at the .esp records in xEdit what you are seeing mainly are the trees and plants placed *inside the LOD City*  from outside the city. this is so if you are at a high vantage point looking down into the city you will see the city looking correctly more or less as it looks when you are in the city so it adds consistency when you are outside the city. There are around maybe 6 or so trees outside the LOD city walls and a number of small plants as well and this is to blend the city with the surrounding area. The issue was that if you use no other mods then it will be barren all around whiterun and whiterun itself is just covered in trees in it and it looks really odd. It looked natural for some very minor spill over close to the wall just outside the walls since thats how plants tend to work too in real life. This was also verified with mods like Forests of Whiterun, and basically every other whiterun exterior mod I just have never heard of or seen any issues - the worst I have heard is of 1 small tree causing minor clipping into a wall in a not very visible area or something.
