Oh, that's neat :) The only difference with iNeed is that : - iNeed doesn't have different textures like you (so, one advantage in yours) - iNeed has a gradual spoilage system where it goes from fresh -> lightly stale -> stale -> spoiled (something like that). The advantage is that you kind of know when an item is going to turn bad
This small step process can be done here easl, but it would need a patch for every survival mod, because filling hunger is magic effect and every mod have different effects. So a ton of work just for small feature. When spoiled food don't fill any hunger for obvious reasons I'm going to add some food preservation (meat + salt = meat, but spoilage timer will be reseted). And some spell to transmutation spoiled food into fresh one. IRL you don't know when exactly food will spoil, so I bet its immersive
thanks, have used that author's quicklightfuel mod for a long time. nexus torch mods, i haven't met a flawless one, perhaps the fuel system give us another way to solve it
Didn't know about this cheat But unfortunately my system right now don't count if item is used or not, so would not be used for torches in this way at this moment.
Do some barrels in areas where not many people ever go still get replacement food and is there a guy like who carries the wood to the pile that has a route for putting new food in barrels?
This mod don't cover any food or other items. It's just a framework and does nothing by it's own.
It need some add-ons like "Simple Food Spoilage System" or ""Simple Ingredient Spoilage System". And Food Spoilage System cover barrels and containers by power of CID and BOS.

Edit: 240sec IRL = 4min IRL = 1h 20min In game time.
EDIT: I think there are also other mods specifically removing the cheat with torches.
