The buildings being different seems strange at first but still, I'll have to give it a try when I get to my computer. Very impressive looking patch, might try to patch Northern Roads with it if there's not a patch already and I like the feel
The next second update will try replacing some buildings into COTN's but not all.Next straight update is to fix basical problem(can be safely updated);I just use TGC of Dawnstar 's Northern Roads patch.Seems to work well.
Would you consider pairing the Thanedom of Dawnstar mod with other mods? For example, with COTN aesthetics? Thanedom mod expands the port area quite nicely. But it would be epic if the vanilla buildings in the upper parts of the city were replaced with COTN.
No that isn't in my current whole skyrim overhaul plans.But yes after I finished them I will provide that for you.I have only comboed Thanedom of Ivarstead in that series.The other Thanedoms mods are what I haven't tried...
wow I didn't know you combo Ivarstead. Have you shared it elsewhere or are you still working on it? The characters etc. added by the Thanedom series give a very good feeling, I think the only thing missing is modeling. Thanedom combos have serious potential.
Tried using Thanedom with Thuldor's Ivarstead.But it's not so perfect to be uploaded. My plan now is to combo Cities.That's my version 2 actually.Some combos cannot be uploaded because too personal requirement.My towns and villages combos have been completed for now,but Thanedom series has too many aspects to be improved so we have to give up most of this series.After the cities combo I will spend days to check my towns and villages and that’s the time I will complete Ivarstead and upload that.
Hi - love this mod. For it to work I have to follow the load order you posted, but using the 'old' files on the download page. The new CTC - JK file is empty for some reason? And without it the main file leaves a bunch of stuff in the Dawnstar docks.
But if I use the old files it's great. Dawnstar a real port city now XD thanks for uploading this.
It's like the Capital City Series but it is Dawnstar. My head is spinning watching my load ordersT-T JK's SKyrim-TGC Dawnstar alone is enough for me right now since I want to use Morskom Estate. Any plan making patch for those two only?
Simplest way to do it is to use TGC AIO and its JKs Patch.And then delete anything else except Dawnstar's in XEDIT.Can you do it yourself?If not I will get to do that.I just finished my Riverwood Custom-Combo and go on to Karthwasten.Those work makes me too tired to do that at least right now.But I promise I will be free from that soon.
I'm noob when it comes to modding. I'm just a user. I can edit simple thing like weapon damage but not cities. I didn't mean to be pushy or force because I already uninstall TGC Dawnstar. Jk's Skyrim and Morskom Estate are blended quite well too. It just that Morskom estate look weird without city walls from TGC Dawnstar. I just regretted deleting the patch not too long ago. It seems like the Jk's Skyrim-TGC Dawnstar patch are being taken down from Nexus. I'm not that into some of the COTN city design.

Hi!I've finished my Karthwasten and Rorikstead Combos.Now I have made a quick JK-TGC patch as you command.Please check if I miss something to patch. EDIT:You have to load TGC after JK's.
However, for me at least it is totally unusable. very little fits, complete mess. Plus in one spot the lowest FPS ever seen in Skyrim!!
Have tried various load orders but no change at all. I would be interested in your load order. Load orders are an absolutely critically needed mention on multiple city mods to work.

I use just GTX 1050 yet my FPS is still 20+ with community shader.And Really don't have too much mess in my gameplay. I'm so sorry for hearing you cannot use this mod.Really sorry.But I guess something else is wrong there.
I'm sure it must be something on my end, I have 1700 mods but nothing other then the mods needed for this on dawnstar. When I get time I will try a clean profile with this to troubleshoot it.

The same problem occurs even after changing the load order, so I couldn't decide whether it was a problem with my environment or whether it was like this from the beginning, so I would like to report the problem I saw here. First of all, in the location shown in the first screenshot (in front of the chief's house), there is a problem with occlusion, causing objects to appear and disappear. The second photo shows a terrain glitch on the way from the side street of the chief's mansion to the outside of town. The third picture is also a problem with the terrain at the end of the same road. The fourth and fifth photos are buried in the back wall of the inn, with the original stairs remaining. In the sixth image of the port, there is an invisible transparent wall at that location. The 7th, 8th, and 9th photos are as you can see. I would appreciate it if you could see whether these are problems in my environment or not.

If you can use console expanded version,I need the cell datas(Normally like <X,X> where your landscape have problems) and the objects Reference IDs WITH THEIR LAST EDITED ESP which seems wrong.I guess there's something wrong with your landscape loadorder first. As for occulusion.Check your efps patches.If you can use XEDIT,try disable all plane markers where your occulusion has problem.

Thank you.If available,I will make a patch for efps.Now I am working on another quested towns' overhaul combo so I have little time to check my efps.But all occulusion issues can be solved by just disabling every single plane marker where issues happen.That’ s all.

Yes I have considered this.But I think different building styles means different distincts of the city.As you know in City of Dawnstar's page,he noticed the new areas are divided into different distincts, and the origin Dawnstar is somehow the Upper-Class City.
No but I didn't edit the TGC Dawnstar itself.When its update is done, I will try to update my own.Hope there would be not too many conflictions that day.
