Man, this is my most absolute favorite Lydia appearance mod. You've honestly elevated the character to such a beauty and coupled with other mods that enrich Lydia's backstory, dialogue, and interactions - like Roadhouse699's Improved Follower Dialogue - Lydia - you end up with such a wonderful follower to have throughout the game.

This is my all time favorite Lydia mod and I really don't want to go through a playthru without it. I was wondering if you could make a patch so it's compatible with Improved Follower Dialogue-Lydia? I tried to use SSEEdit to make one but I just can't get it to work. Thank you so much!
If I put your mod first, Lydia looks like the vanilla version with blackface but the dialogue mod works perfectly. If I put the dialogue mod first, Lydia has your appearance mod but doesn't have any voice at all and the subtitles is the new dialogue.
Personally, I'd expect it to be opposite but this is what's happening. I do have screenshots but I don't know how to post them on here. I tried making a patch with SSEEdit but I never did that before and I couldn't get it to work.
Oh. Well, I don't know if you could make a merge of it. I'd expected it to make adjustments to Dialogue References, not the Actor itself.
Try downloading both. Extract the dialogue mod .BSA archive and then you make a new folder, extract the dialogue one first, then extract mine into it. Make a "hard-merge." Should ask you to overwrite, My guess is that the mod also changes facegen which is the appearance thing used by the engine.
I combined the 2 mods into 1 file. There was nothing that needed overwritten and then I zipped file. I uninstalled both mods from my mod manger, dropped the zipped file into my mod manager and it installed without asking for an overwrite. The game started up with no problems but Lydia had the vanilla appearance in blackface with the new voice and dialogue.

Oof. I just checked the archive myself and yeah. Weird. Must be that the actor itself is also edited in the CK. I don't have anything to check that (I haven't touched/installed this game in a year or so).
If load order and attempts to merge don't work, I guess it doesn't work in general. Have you tried looking at some different Lydia mods? Quite sure there's something better than the one I've made. Could atleast try if those work.
I don't see the issue here. FaceGen has always been pretty picky and sometimes messed up for no reason.
There's one thing you could do as a last resort. Get the CK ready and send me a DM. lol I'll write you a guide for something that might fix it so you can make your own patch. *Could* work.

I figured out how to simply drag the voice file from yours to the other in SSEEdit. I was trying to merge the files before. I've always been terrified to screw with stuff in SSEEdit like this but it worked. Thank you so much for everything and responding to me so quickly!

But I'm having the most incomprehensible CTD I ever got into this game also : I've uninstalled my 180 plugins to check and, by all the things that could get remotly logic nothing corrected the CTD, except once I've uninstalled yours.
I get this : When your mod is installed and Lydia gets loaded within Breezehome cell, the game crashes. Have you any idea how I could get this thing fixed ? (also happens even with My Home is your Home uninstalled)
Kinda late but this shouldn't cause you to CTD. Could be coincidence. This doesn't do anything other than changing her appearance and stats. Doesn't edit any quests or places.
Feel like this is a dumb question, but I keep getting a notification on Vortex that I need Apachii Hairstyles Female for the mod. I have the standard full Apachii Hair, but I can't find the one specific to female for some reason. Anyone have a link? It's such a beautiful Lydia replacer, that I'm determined to use it.
Hey looks nice and as said I did install Apachiis Female hair mod and still got black face on lydia. Only other npc mod I use is seranaholic. I even tried installing only female version of apachii but still nothing :c. Can it because because I tried to install it on save that I already met lydia?
Hello, I'd recommend you just reinstall this version again. The latest version. Sounds like a load-order issue or overwrite issue. If you reinstall her now, she's gonna be last in the load order and overwrite any Lydia textures.
