      No, tested on AE downgraded to 1.5.97, like the AddItemMenu original mod, I don't think it will work on 1.6+

      However... maybe by installing Add Item Menu - NG on top, it will work, as the NG is for 1.6+

      Worth a try...

      It works on 1170 just tested myself. If you are on the latets make sure to delte the translation files and skse files of the original while using NG mod. Then this mod overwriting the original.

      Good news then

      An issue with the keybind has been reported, so the mod author has to update his mod if he wants to use the ESL 

      Other than that... it seems to work based on the users feedback

      So do I need this to make AddItemMenu AE compatible or is "delete the translation files and skse files of the original while using NG mod" the fix for that? And gg for testing that out by the way!

      I don't have a 1.6+ installed currently.. I can't test it sorry

      But it should be easy to test on your side and if it doesn't work, just keep the ESP from the original mod

      The old esp or this or the immersive cheating esl all work. If on the latest version of Skyrim just make sure to grab the dll of NG. Toml just recreates itself on launch.

      confirm fix. tested on a new game 1170. search menu works after deleting the translation files and skse files from Additem OG and using NG with the ESL file.

      You are correct! It works flawlessly on 1170. I just tested it exactly as you suggested.

      LOAD ORDER:

      1. AdditemMenu (Original) with .dll replaced from AdditemMenu NG & translation folder deleted
      2. AdditemMenu NG
      3. AdditemMenu - ESL Patch (this file)

      I haven't had any crashes or glitches for the past 24 hours of gameplay. It works exactly as it did back on 1.6.640. 

      So thanks to both of you, WhereDeadAngelsLie and FrameArms. Not having either AdditemMenu or QUI was unbearable for anyone actually using any significant number of mods. The whole Skyrim gaming community owes you both a debt of gratitude.

      Late Reply, I am using the immersive esl so if I hit the key it put out the spell it gives me "can't be found" and such so it seems to work.

      My head was exploding, because the various alternatives made the game crash. Now it's going great... Q: Now I just need to finish adding some armor mods to my load order! xD

      Are you using vortex or mmo2? This mod doesn't work for me. Instead of having a good time plaiyng moddedd skyrim im stuck trying to fix this stupid mod.

    There's just no good all item mods for ae edition and this doesn't work. The item doesn't spawn in my inventory now thanks.

    Giving out Confirmation that I got this to work on Version 1.6.1130!

    You need to have 3 mods in order for this to work:
    1. the OG mod | https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/17563
    2. The NG mod | https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/71409
    3. This Mod | https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/114556

    You HAVE to delete the translation files under "Interface" and delete the entire plugins files under "SKSE" in the OG mod so that the NG Mod will be used instead.

    Your Load order should look something like this:
    AddItem Menu (Should be overwritten in favor of the ESL PTCH) 
    AddItem Menu NG
    AddItem Menu ESL PATCH (should be overwriting the OG Mod)

      It probably works like this post mentions it, but I think the hotkey of NG shouldn't work until the mod author updates his mod

      Thanks for acknowledging the above tips . I actually prefer the hotkey so just to confirm is it the original mod that needs updating or the NG variant?

      Thank you so much! It worked! and the Seeking Out Stuff - Immersive AddItemMenu Quests also works again with it!
      I was unable to figure it out by myself!

      Hi, just wanna drop by to confirm that it works for version 1170 too. The latest January update i think. One version ahead of yours. Thanks for the tip.

      Oh but the hotkey doesn't seem to work, it keeps saying additemmenu spell not found even though i have the spell learned. But aside from that, everything is working flawlessly. That key not working is no biggie.

    Not sure why but it doesnt work fore me, removes the spells and everything after I overwrite with th ESL. 1597

    This very cool, but the original mod requires the UIextentions mod which has not be updated yet.

    the game pauses but nothing hppens. i cant see any menus on my screen. i have the latest GOG version.

      Loading times are worse and you cannot search items like you can with AIM. But correct me if I'm wrong and missed something.

      No it's not, you can't search item accross multiple plugins and this feature is mandatory for me

      Several mods offer some kind of AddItem feature, but only AddItemMenu has a cross plugins search function

      The SkyUI search is applied only once you are in the plugin... so it's not as good. The MCM configuration is nice though

      I just don't like additemmenu puts some s#*! it script triggers items in your inventory I just want to bind a button and that's all

      Yes but if the button doesn't do what you want... sounds pretty useless to me

      Also, I agree about the other part of your post, so I did a patch to remove the starting item added by AddItemMenu because I don't like it either...

    Hey, could you adjust the default "[" key? As this is flagged as esl the form id of the spell is changed, the button is no longer working.
    The button referenced at .toml file from NG: ListMenu = 26

    Edit: Bummer. After some reading and testing, I suppose that could not be done, as it need to change the dll of NG mod. I don't know how to edit the dll without the source, yet. I'll be switching back into the regular esp, still endorsed tho.

      I haven't found the source code either.... otherwise I could have done it probably

      EDIT: I contacted the mod author of AddItemMenu - NG, so fingers crossed....

      Some testers did it and didn't see any issue so far... but I will not recommend it... 

      I will not do it on my side... unless you are doing a short playthrough for the fun...

      Do not attempt this in the middle of a LOTD Completionist run lol

      Yes because like the original mod, it's 1.5.97 only

      For 1.6+ you should add AddItemMenu NG (but the shortcut will be broken)
