I was trying to figure out why the brown grass wasn't showing up for me. Turns out it was the pre-generated grass cache i downloaded. Disabling the grass cache shows the brown grass. Looks like i will finally have to bite the bullet and downgrade skyrim to generate my own grass cache at some point.
Sadly it looks incompatible with Skoglendi's seasonal implementation, not just my own patch.
"Skoglendi - Fixes and Tweaks" and, I think "Grass FPS Booster" for that mater, edits grass at the Landscape Texture level. With Seasonal Landscapes installed, those records will be ignored for 3 seasons anyway, and both the Unofficial Seasonal Grass Patch and my brown tundra patch would conflict with it anyways.
I think someone would need to make an entirely new Seasonal variation of Skoglendi grass boosts/fixes.
It doesn't seem to conflict. Seasonal Landscapes - Unfrozen doesn't interact with Whiterun tundra as far as I'm aware.
All this patch does is alter the grass mix on a handful of Seasonal Landscape Tundra landscape settings. Those landscapes are not listed in the Unfrozen_SUM.ini file for seasonal swaps, so they should only be showing up in the correct places.
Holy s#*!, thanks for this. I just tossed skoglendi out of my LO because I couldn't find a way for seasons to call back the brown tundra grass in autumn. Thank you so much!
