Hey, I was wondering if it's your mod because I can't seem to find, what cause it - some of my orc NPCs have bandage on their noses.

(don't look at her teeth, was testing some ENB settings)

I've never seen that before. Have you installed anything else recently?
Also, you're using RSV with BnP skin, right? If so, this mod won't affect NPCs at all, because of RSVs unique file path for textures. They're pulled from the RSV folder in the character folder instead of directly from the character folder.
BTW, I've tried playing around with SPID to apply changes to NPCs with no luck. I'm pretty sure the only way to change NPCs with RSV is to manually replace texture files.

Hey preyka, I know I'm dragging up an old post here, but I'm really curious to know if you figured this out.  If you get a chance, let me know.  I'm still baffled by this one.

Once transformed into a vampire I cannot change my haircut or eye color.
I can only change my skin color and my hair color.

Do the changes to hairstyle and eye color revert after exiting race menu, or can you not even see a difference while race menu is open?  Sometimes changes I make revert after I save changes and exit race menu, but they apply after I save and reload my game.  If that's not the case for you, you need to check your plugin load order.  Anything that edits vampire races either needs to load before or you'll need a patch.  Let me know if this helps or not.  We'll figure it out.

It's about time someone figured out a way to bypass Bethesda's nonsense with regards to vampire races...  I'm assuming this will work with custom race mods like Temptress Race?  I'm using a personal SSE port of the Temptress Race before anyone gets any funny ideas that I committed mod theft so don't even go there.  Thank you for this regardless.

Sorry, but this only works for vanilla races. Any custom races would require a patch. I'm happy to make patches, but I would need to be able to download the race mod.

Temptress Race is a Skyrim LE mod which is here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18717

If you need an SSE-compatible version of Temptress Race, I have a personal convesion which you can use for the purpose of patching this mod to work with it.  PM me here on Nexus & I will provide my personal conversion of Temptress Race.  High Poly Head patch for Temptress Race & several other custom races is here:

does anyone know how this would react with RSV? I have used cosmetic vampire overhaul with RSV with no issues yet. I think CVO is the same concept as this but is probably less compatible than this i'd prefer something like this because it's a lot more simple than CVO

This mod contains duplicate race records of every vanilla vampire race, so if it loads after RSV it will revert the RSV changes to vanilla, and if RSV loads after this mod then you won't see the changes from this mod.

      It'll need a patch.

RSV does NOT make any race edits. The vampire and eye changes will work perfectly without any patches. The forehead changes to elves and orcs, however, will not work as is. I am working on a solution for that now.

EDIT:  The brow/forehead changes are not possible, because of permission restrictions. Sorry

Is there a way to bypass the restriction? Maybe contact RSV author? They are very friendly, should help with it.

Actually, I was a little hasty in posting that. I'm experimenting with it right now.

I just posted version 1.1. It has new fomod options for the elf and orc changes. The Player Only options work very well with RSV. I also posted two images of a dark elf vampire using RSV.

You're very welcome. Unfortunately the NPC options in the installer won't do squat to affect NPCs with RSV. It uses a slightly different file path and very different normal maps. I've tried replacing them, but it looked weird.

Great idea and it's simplified my load order a bit.  One thing is I've had an issue with the level list male vampires still having bat faces.  I put this in the bottom of my load order and still have the issue.

I doubt it's caused by this as I had it before, but not sure what could be causing it...

I'm sorry, but I screwed up the description. I typed it for an earlier version of this mod and forgot to change it. I just updated the description to be more accurate. If I can get the NPC vampire mod to work more consistently, I will upload it.

Oh just checked in Xedit and it looks like race overhauls will need a patch. super simple to do though, I'll make one for mannaz and racial body morphs before i check this out in game.

Standalone and De-Standalone patched NPCs should not be affected at all by the elf and orc changes. They should get their head parts from their own head NIF. As for RSV, it and its requirements are a beastly download. I'll get back to you as soon as I have an answer. If you have any more questions or concerns, please post them here and I'll check it out as soon as possible. Thanks

RSV is actually pretty simple and it's worth to be used. There's an instruction on BnP - RSV mod page, from the start to the finish.
