The purpleglass_e.dds included with this mod will cause CTDs since it's not a Power of Two according to NifSkope. This issue can be fixed using a free open source program called TexConv.exe to convert it to BC7 format. Inthe TexConv.exe window, there's a checkbox next to Power of Two which needs to be checked prior to conversion. Please fix this.
In the abandoned prison for some reason spawns witchblade outcast and kill you. it caused me ctd, and after that i easly fix this. Autor you seriously? you couldn't fix it? There is only one line. I'm speechless.
The dark face is usually caused by a mismatch in your load order, causing your assets to get mixed up. Make sure your mods AND your plugins are in the same order with related mods. The dark face can be caused if your mods are A B C but your plugins are A C B. If you can't figure it out that way, try this mod. It won't fix your root problem, but it makes a pretty good band-aid:
Look a little further up the list, above the two Witchblade Death Arrow options there should see:
Witchblade Battleaxe
Witchblade Bolts
Witchblade Boots
They're just Witchblade Bolts rather than Witchblade Death Bolts so it places them further up the list alphabetically. There's no difference listed between the Witchblade Death Arrows and Witchblade Arrows, except for the Black Soul Gem (same damage and cost, no magical effect). So the author may have just left it as-is with two Witchblade Death Arrows and no Witchblade Death Bolt since it is name only.
Is there a patch or anything for Alternate Start? Using AS, whenever I wake up in prison with the alter, as soon as I wake up there's a witchblade that appears and attacks and kills me before I can even get to character creation.
The specific Alternate Start I am using is Live Another Life (since there are several Alternate Starts out there). At this point in the Abandoned Prison the player character is level 1, no weapon (other than Flames), no armor, and totally helpless. Attack comes from a Witchblade Outcast as soon as you exit RaceMenu. Boom, you're dead. Fortunately there is an easy workaround:
Upon exiting RaceMenu, immediately open the console and Toggle God Mode (TGM) on.
Defeat the Witchblade Outcast using Flames (you take no damage and have unlimited Magicka in God Mode).
TGM off and count the weapons and armor just delivered to you as a bonus.
It can be viewed as unimmersive, or you can view it as the Divines stepped in to help because they have plans for you.
Superb armour and weapons, look amazing. Love the purple theme, i get the blackface on all the actual witchblades i encounter but it hardly matters as i am only interested in getting the equipment
Don't be an idiot. Witchblade is a generic term that predates the comics and literally means a witch that uses a sword. Anyone can make whatever the comics uses and name it "The Witchblade" or simply "Witchblade" the first one would be more appropriate for the comics.
except ask anyone in the last 25 year or so what they think of when you say witchblade and they will point to the syfy show or comicbooks not whatever nonesense you just said...so yeah nice try but no prize.
