Great mod - the only improvement I could suggest is to be more descriptive in terms of what you lack, i.e. instead of a generic "you lack the skill to equip this item" (which doesnt tell me WHAT item is having the issue), I would love itif the notification said "to use <steel heavy armour> effectively, you need <heavy armour> skill of at least <20>"

Yeah, this mod has potential. It would be perfect if one could:
      - See the requirement in the message as soon as you equip an item
      - See that the item is being restricted in your Inventory (similar to the way you can see an item is enchanted/stolen/etc)

How would I change this to go off my Smithing skill?

I want to edit this to go off the Smithing but no matter what I change it still goes off Armor Skill. I changed the line to
    Keyword = RestrictEquip:Smithing(30)+Player|Armor|ArmorMaterialElven+ArmorLight

Can we get an optional file the unlocks gear based on WACCF's system? You do use their keywords already.  For Actual WACCF users, you have Orcish/Elven/Dwarven unlocking at the wrong levels for example.

That's one of my favorite mods, it also has feature where player will drop his weapon if run out stamina and try to attack. Pure gold!

Looking good, I would increase the debuff to at least 50%.
Guess it's super easy to do and I simply need to edit the esp :)

For heavy armor, maybe add a speed penalty as well. Just an idea that came to my mind while typing.

Any plans to add spell restrictions?

    EDIT:
I have that random idea of making a stand alone ESL witl all kind of debuff perks.
People then could alter the restrictor .ini file to their liking without needing to edit the esp.

it was my first thought, but i haven't found the way to add speed penalty, for spell i think the mp requirement is restictive enough

I know why most of NPCs are getting naked with this mod installed: it is necessary add ",NPC" to the file in each line. So, instead of "+Player", you should use "+Player,NPC", so that excludes the player with the skill requirement plus all NPCs from the restriction.

that is not correct, this is the logic from item equip restrictor, if you add ,NPC it means npc will get affected too
Can only be equipped by female player characters OR all NPCs
      RestrictEquip:Female+Player,NPC

I think you did not get the meaning. The mentioned logic excludes NPCs of being restricted. If you don't mention NPCs, they will be restricted. When you say

"Can only be equipped by female player characters OR all NPCs
                RestrictEquip:Female+Player,NPC"

, this means female players and NPCs will not be affected by the restriction, because they were mentioned in the code line.

@renatornt2821 is correct, this is what PO3 has replied after I raised a bug.

You need to add NPC to the Restrict Equip keyword, along with whatever player restrictions you have in place.

      RestrictEquip:NPC,Player+Level(30)

all NPCs and level 30+ players will be able to equip this.

HI! could you increase the light armor debuff to 20%? could you put the same debuff on heavy armor by replacing the double weight debuff? A thousand thanks

i think it is a bit redundant isn't it? because to cast higher level spell you need more magicka which is a restriction itself

Can you make it proportional to the level rather than reaching threshold, to map the values of the restriction effect and the skill level linearly
