How does this compare to the Sound Record Distributor version? Does using this version override Audio Overhaul Skyrim? If SRD and SkyPatcher tries to distribute things to the same record, what happens?
+1 would like to know this as well. I want to know what the benefit of using one version over the other is, and how both versions may interact or interact with other things as you stated
I'd like to know about this, especially the compatibility with Audio Overhaul Skyrim and also about SRD, and do we need to disable all previous patches as well?
I already have a smach patch that makes many mods "compatible"..for example: Mortal Enemies, Immersive Sounds Compendium, etc. Would I benefit from this mod anyway?
friend smach patch try to make mortal enenies and skytest-harder creatures compatible, taking characteristics from both mods Would I benefit from this mod anyway? Wouldn't that be redundant?
Patch isnt needed. the phoenix compendium doesn't have an esp file, it just overwrites the loose audio files and has ISC patch files included in its FOMOD.
Im sad I cant upvote that somehow. There's 2 big popular SOS mods that both require massive amounts of compatibility things, however the oldest sos is generally assumed to be in the load order by things that might be incompatible. Due to context I'm assuming c1ph3n is referring to Sounds of Skyrim
I think you've got SkyPatcher confused with the Java-based SkyProc patchers, such as the ones available for Perkus Maximus, Dual Sheath Redux (LE) and ASIS.
@HDMFanatic You are absolutely right. I apologize. Sadly that guide has been set to hidden a couple of years ago and it contained very useful information. Some tools from back then are almost never mentioned nowadays, and while I can confidently say that I've learned to use several updated tools, there's still some info in my head that's still from my old and confused modding newbie mind. Thank you for the clarification.

all the best
For Mortal Enemies you can also use:
Mortal Enemies - SkyPatched at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com)
Would I benefit from this mod anyway?
Wouldn't that be redundant?
Would a patch for this mod be possible?

Is this still the case?
Am I crazy?
Thank you for the quick reply.
