Added new helmet type (2 color schemes): - Reiksguard Helmet (Not present in Vermintide 2. It is a fusion of Myrmidia Helm and Crown Helm I made myself)
Added 2 new weapons: - Bane of Greenskings (Greatsword) - Meistodt's Flamberge, belonging to Victor Saltzpyre (Greatsword. This sword is called "Meistodt's Zweihander" in Vermintide 2, but it is essentially a Flamberge so I named it Meistodt's Flamberge for people like me who can't bear weapons having wrong name in videogames)
I mentioned Immersive Sounds compatibility on the mod's page, but I wasn't quite right: while my armor indeed produces heavy armor footstep sounds, Cuirasses were missing footstep sets that only exist in Immersive Sounds mod and make steel plate armor produce clanking sounds as you walk.
I didn't know about this at all until now, when I randomly put Steel Plate armor from original game and heard these clanking sounds. And nobody told me nothing. I immediately realised my armor is missing them, so I made the patch and uploaded it here.
You should only install the patch if you're using Immersive Sounds otherwise there will be no effect. Without the patch, the armor will still produce heavy armor footstep but no steel plate clanking sounds.
Damn, bro. Looks so good. Any chance of a Mercenary armour and hats ever? I PROMISED myself after more then 10 years of suffering the "always mod never play" Skyrim experience, that I'll never install this game again, but man, THE HATS WOULD BRING ME BACK 10000% xd
Very unlikely. Porting mercenary hats requires more work than helmets due to physics of moving parts (feathers), which I'm still having trouble implementing. Besides, you're the only one asking for these hats, and I initially had no plans to make large-scale Warhammer mods or fulfill someone else's requests. Sorry for delay in response.
If you're talking about entirely new helmet shape then no. This is beyond the intentions of this mod to port things. I'm not going to model things for this mod.
If you're talking about mash-up of existing headpieces (adding plume to existing helmets) then maybe. Last helmet that I wanted to port to Skyrim was Scour Sun helmet and it has plume. If I do port this helmet to Skyrim I might as well copy the plume mesh to some other helmet.
Yes, srry for no specifyng I was talking about current helmets, like the new one (reiksguard) with a plume version will be awesome. Also thanks for sharing this awesome mod and updating it 🔥
You bring new life to old time Warhammer Fantasy fans like myself. If you could manage, by chance, to be the one to bring Ghal Maraz into this game, I can die with a smile on my face
I tried to extract Ghal Maraz model from Total War Warhammer 2, but unfortunately it's too low poly and texture size is too small. As you'd expect from RTS game. When I looked at it, I abandoned my idea to port something from this game. And I don't remember if there was Ghal Maraz in any Vermintide game
Try the models from Total War Warhammer 3, they are way more detailed and I've had a couple of the Flesh Hounds commissioned so that they could be ported, so I could add them to my FO4 game. There are some great models in that game.
Good news! I think i found a good model for Ghal Maraz, only is from another mod from another game. I'll post the link in case you wanna take a look: https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-old-realms
Honestly my friend, You're do the Lady and Sigmar Proud, For the fact you add warhammer weapons and armor is the best, Please make more, I would like to make Elite Guards and followers with these armors, keep going i support you.
Capes don't support HDT physics yet, because I ran into a problem while adding it. Physics looked ugly during rapid character movements, so I decided to not to upload it until I get it to work perfectly. For now, capes work like Serana's default cape. They somewhat imitate physics when your character moves, but don't have actual physics.
If I ever do any Saltzpyre armor, it would most likely be a Saltzpyre's long coat from Vermintide 1. It has better looks than VT2 version IMO. That's the most proper Witch Hunter clothing we can get
Sadly true i still prefer the first coat rather than the second, I do know that there are other games working with models of warhammer stuff, specifically a mod for Bannerlord and i don't know if the game/assets are still around but there used to be a warhammer MMO, tho that sounds much more difficult to port.

Just check necessary optimization, compress textures and generate mipmaps, point it at the textures folder you wand to do and it will fix everything.

Doesn't require HDT physics extensions either.
