My Warhammer Fantasy ports for Skyrim SE:
Requirements:
- Skyrim SE
- HDT-SMP or Faster HDT-SMP - only if you want physics support. Nor required for No physics version.
Armor, weapon and shields can be made in a Forge. You'll need Ebony Smithing perk to craft them. Items use respective Ebony item base parameters. Is affected by Ebony Smithing perk for 2x times better tempering.
- Does not include any scripts at all or anything that could possibly break your save so it's safe to install/remove the mod mid playthrough.
- Does have 1st person arms model so should be compatible with 1st person camera mods, I myself play with Improved Camera SE and it works perfectly.
- Heavy armor sounds are attached to heavy armor pieces, so Immersive Sounds - Compendium users will be happy (in vanilla Skyrim heavy armor uses light armor sounds which was only fixed by an Unofficial Patch)
This is my very first mod and my first attempt at porting stuff to Skyrim, so, despite the fact that I tried to make everything as high quality as I could, there will definitely be some limitations. But I will continue improving this mod to make it something Sigmar could be proud of!
Known limitations:
- Obviously there is no female version of Markus Kruber in Vermintide, so there is no female version of GK armor in the mod at the moment. I'm currently trying to create female version by editing body proportions in Ourfit Studio. Helmet is not supported by beast races as well, and I don't see how it's possible to make it support beast races, because it's a greathelm, that's just how it's shaped.
- Armor set comes in pieces (cuirass, boots, gauntlets), but when putting on the cuirass, some body parts become invisible. The armor is divided into parts for the sake of balance and the ability to enchant individual items, however, the mod implies that you will only use the armor as a complete set, and not combined with other armor pieces. This might change later. (You can still mix helmets with other armor sets)
Planned changes:
- Make guards react to your armor.
Please keep in mind that I'm just a normal gamer like you, I have my own life, and Skyrim modding is not even close to my main hobby. So I won't be able to release updates on any schedule or fix anything in a matter of one day or something. Porting complex armor like this into 10 years old videogame is a hard work, expecially for someone who is doing it for the 1st time. But I will keep improving this mod because I want to.
