Well this is a hidden gem. Since it uses SPID, it plays well with Zim's Dragon Improvements, something I've been searching for for a while. Thanks for making this!
It's best not to combine: this mod adds multipliers to dragons' stats too.
Simply Stronger Dragons increases health/damage in a customizable amount.
This mod adds dragons 200 more Health, make them Resists 90% more Poison and 50% more Magic, have additional Armor Rating of 300, make dragons deal twice more physical and breath Damage, take only 5% Stagger.
Better to choose one or the other. If you want this mod's changes to other creatures, but not dragons, or the other way around, can always just remove stuff you don't want from Simply Stronger Guards&Giants_DISTR.ini.
could you create a mod that if you get arrested, you get sent back to the cart to the chopping block. almost restarting your game. your gear would be sent to the evidence chest of the corresponding guard that arrested you, but you keep your stats, spells, and shouts.
all arrests lead to the chopping block.
something like if (arrested) then (start intro scene) else (nothing)
Anyone experiencing CTD when using this mod? This is supposedly just an SPID-based mod, right? But on my part, I always CTD whenever I try to start the game with this mod enabled. Really confused why this happen.
Ah yes, I guess after retrying, it turns out there's a conflict somewhere with my Synthesis patch. If i tried playing the game with just SPID, Scrambled Bugs, and this mod, there is no problem. Sorry for the false alarm.
the mod Simply Stronger Dragons seems like too old to be stable even the FOMOD is ancient, do you know any other mod that enhanced dragon in a very simple manner like your mod?
Not from the top of my head, no. It is solid though, haven't caused issues for me in the past, other than that engine bug with the UI.
...And I did end up adding dragons here after all. I didn't want them to have THAT much health. They are very dangerous and highly resistant to attacks, but it should not be impossible or extremely time consuming to take them down.
I have Deadly Dragons installed, I wondered if the buffs might stack too much with this mod. Have only fought one so far, the one at the Whiterun watch tower, and that dragon went down pretty easily.
Will be interesting to see how it plays out later in the game.
Edit; Or would your changes overwrite those from Deadly Dragons. I hadn't thought of that. It would explain why the first one went down unexpectedly quickly. I will have to experiment.
Maybe they could overwrite them. Generally I'd say turn the dragons' effects off by removing that line from the ini when using any dragon ovehaul, not to mess with their balancing. Or you could experiment, it's up to you
This mod is in serious need of an update on how it applies the hp regen to trolls. I was fighting a troll with firebolt; the troll was lvl14 which I knew thanks to True Hud.
It did not matter how many dual cast firebolts I cast at this damm troll. It would not die. True Hud showed me that it just regened back to full before my next firebolt spell cast hit the troll. I even removed the troll spell perk in the Distr.ini file for this mod. Which did absolutely nothing towards lowering its insane health regen.
It wasn't until I disabled this mod that I was able to kill that troll is 3-4ish firebolts.
1. True HUD with Nordic...ish - A TrueHUD preset based on Nordic UI. 2. Starting with the update they get ImmuneStrongUnrelentingForce vanilla keyword, previously mostly reserved for Greybeards, so they should stand their ground.

PS: Is there anything you can do for the Dwemer centurions? They are very weak in the vanilla game.
Thanks

Shall try the update : -D
Update working great, thank you. Same troll still a tough fight with a lvl 18 character and two followers
1. What hud mods are you using in the screenshots?
2. Do Giants and Trolls still get flung back by the Unrelenting Force and Cyclone Shouts?
