    Is there a way to learn about nirnroot?

      Nirnroot is not a common ingredient, in Oblivion there's a whole quest about finding this rare item, so I feel general alchemists wouldn't know about it. However, if you wish they'd do that, follow these steps:
      1. in MO2 right click and select "Create empty mod", then open that folder,
      2. create a file named "MyEdits_FLM.ini" and in it put:
      Remove = AAS_ExclusionList|Nirnroot,NirnrootRed
      Make sure the mod in the left pane of MO2 is active and launch the game.

    This is a great mod!  I hate the tedium of trying to figure out the effects of my alchemy ingredients but I also hate cheating.  This is a happy medium and a useful gold sink.  Thank you!

    Sadly, this doesn't appear to work in VR.  The menu will appear, but I can't select any ingredients for appraisal. =(

      Also sad this does not work in VR. Same issue as many recently described, MCM is fine, dialogue comes up, but the barter/inventory screen is just an un-selectable list of my ingredients. Trying to apply a filter crashed my game, but that wouldn't even be an issue if the mod worked at all. Great idea regardless.

    I tried to add your mod to a modlist called Lost Legacy but in-game the text doesn't show and neither does the MCM, might you know what could be wrong?

      Lost Legacy uses Skyrim 1.5.97, you need BEES. Also make sure you have all the required mods for that specific game version.

    I wish I could join the happy crew that can use this mod... but it is not working for me.  I get a list, but cant select anything.  When I watch vids of it working, there is a "menu" on the bottom of the ingredient list that I do not see.

    I did install the pre-requisites, no errors or dependencies missing.  It would make sense that either the MCM helper or the b612 utilities are not working... how can I troubleshoot?  I would love to be able to use this mod,

      Do you have any UI mods active? Could you please disable them and see if it works?

      I just installed the minor update for b612... no change.

      I don't know what I could have that would interfere.  My install is pretty light (80 full and 300 light plugins).  Give me a clue and I will hunt down the reason... or give me a place with a log file so I can trace it myself.  It is clear that the "menu" is not appearing at the bottom, even if the ingredient list is.  I cant be the only one who would experience this behavior.

      SkyUI is fine (probably required for this mod), but iue is likely from some other mod affecting UI. Can you please post an screenshot of what you're seeing?

      Like I said, it is missing the menu on the bottom... I see what the menu SHOULD look like from the demo video and I don't have it.

      The bottom bit missing is by design and correct result, so the interface is loading.
      I can send you a version with some debug info dumping turned on, if you'd like to give that a try?

    It's not working for me either - can't choose anything in ingredients menu. MCM appeares, but empty. I think, it's cause i'm on 1.6.353 (which also means, that my Papyrus Extender is 4.5.7), some new mods behaves strange, even with BEES. Dear Dairy and Crafting Categories was in my files, but not affect on this.

      I don't have that version but the closest I have is 1.6.640 (Aurora modlist) and testing it both mcm and the mod are working fine. If the required mods don't support that version it's out of my hands I'm afraid.

      Yea, with 1.6.6 there was some big changes, as i know. Like when you go to a site after a couple of months of doing other things in reality and everyone is screaming that nothing works. Some things can be fixed with BEES and smth like it, some not. It's still lot of mods needed to be updated to work with new ver and my surrent mod list is to stable to fully rebuild it, so here we are :(
      May be i'm just mistaken and there is a way to fully make up the difference in versions, but not with my current brain capabilities, lol

    I dont know what i've done wrong, I don't see this on the MCM and when I choose the dialogue option all it does is send me to the barter menu

    Yeah, I'd also like to increase the price well over 60 gold per ingredient, since Alchemists are basically giving you the secrets of their livelihood, and are afraid that you (especially if you're The Great Dragonborn) would become additional competition...

    Glad that there's a MCM option for that!
