Does your version prevent SPID from functioning? I have yet to see any NPCs with this lantern. Especially noticable since the base mod adds blue/green/red lanterns to Ysolda, Carlotta, and Irileth with 100% spawn chance.

EDIT : Might just be an issue with the base mod. Tested a fresh game with just it enabled and it's not distributing.

for those who want to make the light brighter you can simply change the color of the light in SSEEDIT. first open "EldenRingLantern.esp in SSEEDIT then navigate to the Light dropdown and choose which lantern do you want to change the value, on the right window you can see the color rgb, you simply need to change the rgb color in the color dropdown. for example i change the purple lantern rgb to (153, 114, 198) so now its bright purple. save and thats it.

Hi! There's no need to update my patch, as I already did the fix implemented in the last v1.2.1 version.
So, you're good to go. And thanks for the heads-up, it always helps.

Hi and thanks for the patches!

Is there a way (SSEEDIT) to change the brightness/range value? I would like to have it super low just so i can see my followers in the Dark, using Chesko's on my player character?

    TY!

Hi. To change the range go to Light -> rrrEldenLanternLight (_white, _red, etc) -> Radius. As reference Default is 700, My Version is 500.

Is it possible for the lanterns to be removed during the day, like how npcs put their torches away? Or is that just too much coding?

I really like the lamps, but since they are considered light armor, they unfortunately thwart the change perk "Magic Armor" where you are not allowed to wear a single piece of armor I think :o

Yes, you're right, I had already edited the mod here for my game. Please try the new v1.1 version. And thanks for the heads-up.

Hey, that's very nice :) I would have liked to change that myself, but strangely enough, Skyrim always starts reloading ALL creation mods for me as soon as I started the creation kit beforehand. After 2 tries I was really fed up with it :o

Oh, I recommend you to install SSEEdit then, it's the ideal tool for this kind of edits. A lot faster and easier.

Oh, I haven't seen that before, it actually looks a lot lighter than the CreationKit! Thanks for the tip!

Would you by chance be able to make an ENB Light version?

I also thought the light was too much, so this reduced version is great for me, thanks!
