Will this mod works with Vigilant Npc refined? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/103222?tab=posts I am wondering if lamae will have the appeareance of that mod if have it installed. Tajnk you for your incredible work !
I using a different Overhaul for them, see I don't think so because on my end they share 2 different ID's for Lamae, but here's hoping I'm wrong...really you'd have to go into game to check
'Meridia's Order Lamae bal now shares the same appearance as Vigilant's Lamae' I looked into the files in Meridia's Order and saw that Lamae has a different ID to the vigilant one, so will NPC replacers for vigilant still need a patch? or am I just seeing things wrong here? btw thanks for the patchs
How come did you think Meridia's Order is a good prelude fo Vigilant? Already played Vigilant, and am about to try out Meridia's order. Just stumbled upon this mod. Some spoiler is fine if it cannot be explained otherwise
The involvement of Molag bal, coldharbour and the resurrection of Lamae Bal.
i felt like these reasons and the implication that Molag Bal is working in the shadows for a greater goal makes for a good introduction for what is to come in vigilant and makes you say "oh snap, Molag Bal is preparing something big"
One more cool bit for this mod would be a dialogue option similar to the Archmage of Winterhold line when the Vigilants show up if you've completed act I of Vigilant. Something in the vein of "I'm the keeper of the Temple of Stendarr, and I say the order's legitimate." Should also either auto-complete the Vigilant truce quest or give you another option to enforce your authority when talking to their leader.
Another great alternative replacer for the armor worn by the Meridia's Knights would be this one- https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/50439
The elite knight armor from dark souls is cool but this is a patch to synergize vigilant and meridia's order mods. there is no better choice than the "knight of meridia" armor for his paladins
Now that I've read the description thoroughly I realized now that you are 100% right. I was going for a more realistic armor playthrough but your way makes way more sense. Thank you for explaining! Next time I'll be more attentive lol.
Alas, I found this mod RIGHT after I finished Meridia's Order. But, I had the exact same process as you - It makes for a great interlude,
Spoiler:
Show
especially after that little Vigilant of Stendarr cameo at the end.
I think it'd be cool to add a misc objective to "further investigate the Vigil" (directing the player to the tavern in Dawnstar) after completing MO's main quest - to help connect the dots, so to speak.
that sounds like a great idea! sadly i lack proper knowledge and ability on scripting to create something as simple as that :( (real life keeps me occupied to fully dedicate myself to mod creation)

i'm open to suggestions or ideas to further synergize the mods :)

I enable this ESP then load in, my game crashes before it reaches the menu every time.
Disable this mod, loads in okay...
Skyrim VR here..
I did LOOT load order as well... Plus placed it manually at the bottom for testing..
Would like to know what I am doing oddly wrong ?
But someone recently uploaded a mod to add ESL support for VR ... you could try that!

What do you think?
