Currently patching this with requiem/Last seed for personal use, could you let me know how you give the wooden bowl back after using an item? Elsweyr Fondue didn't have a bowl requirement so I'm wondering if I need to update something to make it give the bowl back after consuming.
Much appreciated. If I make some patches for this would you be interested in hosting those here or may I upload them myself following your permissions?
Never mind. It should be done through KID. Apparently I already included Elsweyr Fondue. However, I didn't seem to have added it to the crafting recipe. I'll update today.
I've added the wooden bowl as a requirement to the Elsweyr Fondue recipe. I've also tested if they return the bowl. On my end it seems to be working, with both the Elsweyr Fondue and its counterpart in Survival mode.
Hey, I'm playing as a thief and when I go to forge a ledger, no activation icon comes up, even though I have 2 x ink and 2 x quill in my inventory. Tried a new playthrough - same issue. Any way in a log or something to check what is (not) working?
I've been looking at Mihail's monster mods and some of them add new ingredients that seem similar to the base game salts, meaning they'd also logically return bowls. How is your mod's support for mod-added ingredients? I'm guessing nilch, and if so I was thinking maybe you could make it so that the user could type in an item's name in the MCM menu somewhere and make the mod work with that item so it returns bowls as it should.
There's a patch for Bruma. Unfortunately, it isn't that easy AFAIK. I basically need to make seperate Misc Items for each salt/dust. It would need to be patched manually. However, if you do find anyone that can do it dynamically without sacrificing the integrity of the mod, let me know. Also, if you want me to make patches for mihails, could you provide a list of his mods that add these kind of ingredients?
Here's a preliminary list of ingredients from Mihail's mods that look like they would fit right in with Forgotten Clutter Overhaul. The reason why multiple mods might be listed under the same ingredient is because Mihail created themed compilation mods that combine multiple mods that fit the same theme, and also because some of his mods seem to include some stuff from some of his other mods without having all of the other mod's features.
I keep getting more and more wooden bowls each time I cook something. Like, I cook some steak for myself and then *poof* now I have another bowl.
EDIT: Wait... is it because the recipe uses salt which gives me a bowl when used for something? It's really weird that the ingredient is so light but the bowl so heavy.... is there anything I can do about the weight discrepancies?
What if to harvest dusts etc, you need to have an empty bowl OR a stack of the ingredient in your inventory. Then if you use the item an empty bowl is added ONLY if you don't have any more in your inventory. That way it would feel more like you have a single bowl for each stack of ingredients. Not sure if that makes sense...
I have found a small issue in _FLM.ini, though. Main File Version 1.0a/Forgotten Clutter Overhaul_FLM.ini Entries in ANDR_FCO_MiscObjectBowlList section reference the ANDR_FCO_RealObjectBowlList formlist. https://i.imgur.com/AmBEgq4.png
I love everything about this, except for the ingredient bowls. Its more of a gripe with the vanilla implementation, like the only reason these reagents are in bowls is because they had to have a world model and it makes sense for a bowl of something to be like sitting on an alchemy table, but the idea of having an open bowl of something in your... pocket or backpack, your inventory, has always bothered me. (If I had my way you wouldn't be able to put soup in your inventory either. Maybe I could figure that out, force a drop on crafting and lean on "Use or Take" or something. I'll set that aside for later.)
I never cared enough to do anything about it, but I 100% want to run this clutter overhaul and this has inspired me. I'm going to make a mesh/texture replacer where these reagents are all held inside a little cloth pouch, should be easy enough. Probably make a version that is just a replacer, and one that has a small crafting recipe to turn Linen Wrap + Leather Strips into several little pouches, figure out how to give the pouches back on consumption.
Would you be willing to add a patch to replace bowl requirements to those pouches, or Linen Wrap with just the replacer? I feel like bowls are too heavy to carry a bunch around. Linen Wrap is heavy but many mods reduce clutter weight and include them, maybe have a chance to break instead of consume to simulate tearing pieces off.
Could you maybe add an optional file that you must have those items in order to eat instead of giving extra buffs? Just like the wooden bowl but for meals. I believe that's a more hardcore option for those who enjoy pain like me :D
Thanks for your mods, I literally have like 95% of your mods on my modlist.

Should be fixed in 1.0b, which I just uploaded.
I'm this seeming to cover all the objects could please check if there are any incompatibilities I think the cooking pan would be one but I don't know how to do it myself
