Description

This mod gives a purpose to a lot of otherwise useless and forgotten clutter.

  • Bowls: To "harvest" any dusts, ashes, oozes of dead bodies, you need to have a bowl in your inventory. If you use said item (consume it, or use it to craft something), an empty bowl will be added. You'll also need bowls to make soups and stews.
  • Plates/Knife/Forks: Having these in your inventory when using a food consumable will provide a buff to the food's buff duration and magnitude. This applies to most food that isn't a soup or stew. The magnitude/duration will increase depending on the quality of plates/knifes/forks. They have a small chance to be consumed*.
  • Spoons: Having this in your inventory when using a food consumable will provide a buff to the food's buff duration and magnitude. This applies to most soups and stews. The magnitude/duration will increase depending on the quality of the spoon. They have a small chance to be consumed*.
  • Tankards/Cups/Goblets: Having these in your inventory when using a drink consumable will provide a buff to the drink's buff duration and magnitude. This applies to most drinks, excluding potions. The magnitude/duration will increase depending on the quality of tankard/cup/goblet. They have a small chance to be consumed*.
  • Inkwells/Quills: They are now required to be in your inventory to forge ledgers for the Thieves' Guild. They have a small chance to be consumed*.
  • Oars: It's now required to have this in your inventory to use the rowboat from Icewater Jetty to Castle Volkihar and back. They have a small chance to be consumed*.
  • Empty Wine Bottles: To harvest Frostbite Venom from frostbite spiders. (Note: consuming Frostbite Venom won't return the bottle, as it's an engine limitation unfortunately.)
  • Blacksmithing clothes: Wearing Blacksmith's Shoes will give a +1 to your Smithing skill. Wearing a Blacksmith's Apron will give a +2 to your Smithing skill.
  • Fine clothes: Wearing any noble or fine clothes will give a +2 to your Speech skill.

*You can chance the chance of the items being consumed. Refer to the section about customization.

You'll also be able to craft most of the clutter.

FAQ

Q: Will you add a potion requirement for potions?
A: This mod already does that. I highly recommend it if that's what you're looking for.

Q: Will you make a patch for food satiation in needs mods like Survival Mod, Sunhelm and iNeed?
A: That would likely require script edits, which requires the correct permissions and is generally bad for compatibility. I might look into it eventually.

Q: Why do some crafting recipes require extra leather strips?
A: Because firewood is in unlimited supply at each chopping block. Leather strips make it so you can't make them in an unlimited amount.

Q: ESPFE?
A: Yes.

Q: Does installing/updating/uninstalling on an existing save work?
A: As far as I know, it should. However, it's good practice to keep a backup save prior to doing this, just in case.

Q: Is this compatible with <insert mod>?
A: I don't know by heart. You might need to check yourself.

Q: Will you make a patch for <insert mod>?
A: Only if it's a mod I use myself or plan on using, I have enough time and I actually like the idea. Otherwise, feel free to do it yourself. (see permissions)

Q: I have a suggestion to improve the mod. Can you do it?
A: Maybe, if I have time and I like the idea, I'll consider it.

Q: Will you port this to <insert platform>?
A: No, I myself only support the Steam and GOG English SE and AE versions of Skyrim. If someone else wants to port it, feel free. (see permission) If you decide to port it, you yourself take full responsibility to offer support to said port. I will not provide no support for any ports by third parties.

Q: I use a ported version of this mod on <insert platform> and I have a problem. Can you help?
A: I don't provide any support for third party ports on other platforms than the Steam and GOG English SE and AE versions of Skyrim. If you have issues, you should adress the person that ported it.

Q: Does this work on Skyrim 1.6+, aka "Anniversary Edition"?
A: Yes, it should.

Q: Why don't your mods use MCMs and instead use this janky console command system to set globals?
A: I am not a fan of MCMs. You can set the globals by making a patch in xEdit. I have no plans of changing this. If you want to add an MCM, feel free. (see permissions)

Q: Why don't you use FOMODs?
A: That would require reuploading the entire mod, in question, even if I only make a small change. My internet is limited and reuploading the files each time will take a huge chunk of my monthly volume.
