Hello there, me again! I'm trying to get the green eyes to work with Serana after she's been cured, but she shows with blue eyes instead. I'm not quite sure what could be the cause considering that when I have the green version enables prior to the healing ritual she does show with these eyes. What should be done in order for these eyes to work with Serana after she has been cured?
Hya there! After fiddling a good bit with load orders and installation processes, I'm still quite certain that no, ERV does not work when Serana is cured. I tried Installing the cured version of SRI, and still no dice. I even tried to change the texture paths with OutfitStudio and it doesn't work still. My best guess (albeit one not entirely informed as I'm not as versed in modding) is that maybe the problem has to do with the texture path/cured eyes meshes. What I mean by this is that, considering the mesh name for the eye texture is SeranaEyesHumanVampireNord and she's no longer a vampire, maybe the texture path is void given that she is, after curing herself, no longer a vampire, and hence after curing herself the mesh likely changes thus leaving the ERV textures without a mesh to apply themselves on (?). Does that make sense? The fact that she does show up with the green eyes when she hasn't cured herself kinda lends itself to the idea that the problem has to do with the eye mesh path or something like that... Anyhoo, I'm eager to hear your thoughts on the matter whenever you have some time to spare. Thanks for taking the time to help me look into this :3
Using this seems to cause a clash with something else in my LO, which in turn causes black lines to shoot out of serana. Could you help me with this :( I want to use this amazing mod. TY
Hya there! Love the mod, deffo an upgrade over the standard SRI eyes. Quick question, though. Is it possible to get a patch for this mod to work with the Hood Plus Hair mod with hair HDT physics? Non physics works just fine, but the HDT version causes a non hdt hair and a physics one to show simultaneously :S. Any workaround for this?
Nevermind, I got it to work without too much of a hassle. For anyone who might wanna get the HPH-HDT version working with this mod, all you have to do is: Download this mod, using Outfitstudio open up the Facegeom file of this mod named 00002B6C. Select the SeranaEyesHumanVampireNord part, right click and select properties. Click on the textures button and copy the different texture paths shown. Next up, replace the "Meshes" folder of this mod with the meshes folder of SRI HPH-HDT. Ensure both HPH-HDT and SRI EyesRevisited folders have the same "Meshes" folder. Lastly, open the new facegeom file you copied from SRI HDT with Outfitstudio. Select the SeranaEyesHumanVampireNord part and, following the same procedure you did to find the texture paths, select and replace the texture paths with the ones you got from the original Facegeom file of this mod. Export as a NIF using the same name (00002B6C) and replace the old version with the one you just exported. That should do the trick! PS: I'm using SRI HPH Version 2.0a as the author indicated that version solved the dreaded double hair bug. If you are having trouble with her having black hair, simply open up XEdit, select the Serana Reimagined mod, navigate to Non-Player character actor in the left pane, look for "HCLF - Hair color" and make sure both values are "HairColor12BlackTrue"Black". Is this compatible with Hoods Plus Hair for SRI, particularly the BloodWine coloured version? Both mods do edit the same FaceGeom file. I've personally gone ahead and installed the Black Hair version of this mod but edited the FaceGeom to have the BloodWine colour in Nifscope, but I'm not sure if that was even necessary.
Hmmm, apparently in the comments of HPH for SRI someone did manage to get both that mod and Glowing Eyes for SRI to work together, so I don't see why this mod can't.
I'll just have to make sure the mesh edits from HPH for SRI are carried over to this mod. I'll report the results back to you once I've tested.
