I have been waiting my entire Skyrim lifetime for a bass! You sir get 4 thumbs up! Ive been using https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/68039 for a bit now. hopefully 1 day we could get both mods to work together for BaB then i can finally fullfil my dream of putting my band in skyrim! Glad you like them, and thx for the endorsement! I have no idea how two lute models for the bard's animations can coexist without a conflict. Vanilla game and BaB support only 3 types of instruments. Maybe you could swap the mesh of the flute and its animations with the ones of the lute🤨
I made a folder for custom basslines in folder path Data\Sound\FX\Mus\Bard\Bass and proceeded to add 6 wav sound files of my liking. Then I changed the 6 default bard lute files with the custom ones in creation kit under the sound directory category. This works really well with this amazing bass mod!
Theres seperate flute files in the same directory for BaB which allows my character to be able to slap out some bass riffs to impress Ysolda.
Now all we need is a custom drumset and the workbench animation to replace the hand drum ;)
