Time to conquer an abandoned lighthouse!
Once you conquer Pinefrost Tower, the location will be rebuild and inhabited by either Imperial or Stormcloak guards, depending on the current owner of the Haafingar.

After you brutally murder the two animals at Pinefrost Tower, the location will be rebuild and protected by either Imperial or Stormcloak guards, depending on the current owner of Haafingar. The officer in charge has voiced dialogue and a tiny quest for you to complete.
Lore
Before it's destruction, Pinefrost Tower was an important location to the eastern border of Haafingar hold. Strategically placed on an easy to navigate area high in the mountains, it protected the road leading to Solitude. Towering above the sea, it was easily visible to ships. It therefore also functioned as a lighthouse, to warn incoming vessels. The decennia have been tough for Pinefrost Tower, ultimately leading to it's abandonement. After it is cleared, it once again will function like it used to. The old ruins are too far gone to be restored, but the location offers great expansion to the initial structures. A new tower was built, alongside a gatehouse and walls to better protect the road. A new lighthouse was also put atop the new tower.
