Anyone know any potential mods that could add some animal spawns to the world that potentially wouldn't be overwritten by this? because i'd love to be able to have Zombies and Bonewolves roaming around a bit more commonly, but i also would love to still keep animals being semi-common.
I have a question, how would one go about editing to be mostly draugr instead of skeevers and wolves... the spiders are fine and creepy. the sheer amount of wolves is a bit annoying but i like the added draugr and spider spawns.
You can pretty easily remove some of the "SpookyWolfs" and "EncSkeever" entries from the leveled lists that start with "LChar" in xEdit if you want. BTW in case you haven't updated since before I remade the mod in October, there should be quite a lot less of both of them now. Skeevers are now almost completely limited to ambient leveled lists (the kind that would be only spawning foxes or rabbits anyway) except for maybe in swamps (I don't remember) while wolves have been scaled down to spawning a lot less. There are also some handplaced wolf encounters, such as on the road from Riverwood to Whiterun, that aren't determined by leveled lists.
Very interesting. Necromancers are hated by many in Skyrim for a reason and this could be it.
A version where this is happening at night but not during the day makes it fit in with the Vampire Menace backstory for Dawngaurd, I can't help but feel (and gives hunters a bit of a break, as long as they return to the cities and towns by dusk) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I fear the night... because the vampires and werewolves don't. - A Worried Guard
Yeah, I've wanted more mods like this that did the Minecraft thing where really tough monsters come out only at night. The only thing I've really found is one called Simple Night Spawner, but it's pretty barebones. I'd love to make something like that one day, but it would probably require more skills than I have right now. Conditionally changing leveled lists based on time of day is impractical, so it would have to be a new approach -- something like DFB Random Encounters that adds new spawn points with scripts.
You could also check out Dawnguard Vampire Attacks Fix, which restores the night time vampire attacks from Dawnguard, but I think it only pertains to cities.
Sorry about the late reply, but if you still need help, I'd recommend looking up the Beginner's Guide to Modding Skyrim on Reddit. It can do a better job explaining the basics than I can.
You could also do a manual download and unzip it directly into your Skyrim installation's Data folder, but I'd recommend at least learning how to use a mod organizer.
Ooh, awesome! Thanks for telling me about this. After a peak under the hood and some quick playtesting, the two seem to be compatible. Adding it to the description.
Ok, been running around after installing that.. and YES! They are pretty easy to defeat and soooo much fun when you have mods like travelers of skyrim and populated roads.. the fights are hilarious! :)

Thanks. Will you make another option which replaces zombies with draugrs and bone wolves with death hounds?
