Currently this only Partially works for VR, buttons do not show up, only Labels and Lists and because VR locks you into the main menu controls you can't click any of them. Still useful for displaying version number and the name of the list though.
That's wonderful to hear! I was a bit disheartened because I spent my afternoon in Paint.net designing dds files for my buttons so I'm thrilled I might still be able to use them :). Let me know if I can help you in any way!
I would be happy to take you up on your offer. For starters, can you run an example from the misc files section to see if the buttons really don't work? There is a possibility that you saved the dds in the wrong format, the Skyrim engine is an ancient tool and does not understand the new compression.
Got it working using your settings, I also had to make sure they were square. Now the only problem is there's no way to select them or interact with them in VR.
Main menu you can't use the mouse for whatever reason in VR, you are locked into the menu options. Maybe hotkeys could be assigned to buttons? Then I could make images of the buttons that correspond and put them above the buttons.
Hotkeys is probably for the best but I did ask the author of https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/33414 if it would be possible to make the mouse work on the main menu. I'm not 100% sure its possible since that mod relies on SkyUI menus but I figured I'd ask. If at all possible if there were a way to be able to bind controller inputs to it in a config file that would be stellar. Edit: Shizof was unable to make the mouse work in the main menu :(
Unfortunately I can't seem to use a virtual keyboard to press the buttons I assign and have them register as is required in VR, I'd have to find a way to bind VR specific controller buttons. The only mod I can think of that could be used as reference for this is VRIK
So two things, there are no scancodes for VR controller buttons but that's way less important than this next issue, the keyboard shortcuts are omnipresent. That means that pressing them at any point during gameplay will alt tab you and open the page instead of just on the main menu. This makes using the console very difficult. Edit: I just saw you already fixed this and I'm just behind on updates, sorry for not checking first.
Hi MaskedRPGFan, is it possible to add the ability to change the location of the "Close" button in the [SupportersList] (now it seems to be off-center by default) and the text of the button itself, such as "Exit" in the ini file. Been waiting for a mod like this for a long time, very useful, thanks for the work!
Yes, this is one of the reasons why this mod was created. You can add them as buttons or labels. When someone clicks them, the page will open in the browser. Download an example to see how it works. Wunduniik has also good example how to do it, since it is using this mod for 3 months, I released it today to make it available for others
