Busy Follower framework - overwrites the better player wedding scripts. For now, let my mod overwrite it and load below. In-game dispense follower/lover before the wedding. Nothing else to do. make and edit a video for a complete showcase. have to learn if I have time as well.
I believe I have discovered a rather annoying issue with this mod. I just completed the college questline and recieved a notice that "My follower has left to attend my wedding", said follower being Brelyna, who was going to the arch-mage celebration. Brelyna and I were romantically involved at the time, and her going to a """"wedding"""" that didn't involve her fired some script off in ORomance or one of those other non-standard romance mods and caused her to believe I """"cheated"""" on her and now she hates me. Is that party being a """wedding""" isolated to only that one and it's a bug, or is this an oversight with the entire mod that wouldn't matter outside of this one scenario?
Its not this mod. As you said you suspect it being oRomance triggering. I have a belief that oMods are entirelly script independent, but I do not know, that way it is not a compatibility issue also. You could reload a save prior to attending the college ceremony and dismiss the follower you have before (however the script here already does that for you automatically, this script follows basic lines where some quests dismiss a follower).
Yes the problem I have isn't with the relation thing regarding this mod, it's the wedding thing. It still happens regardless of if she's my current follower or not, I just noticed it being related to this mod when I noticed the wedding prompt and remembered this mod affecting the post-college quest scene. Is it intentional that it's working the same way as the weddings do and that it triggers the 'going to the wedding' script? Also is there any way to skip this scene after the fight with Ancano before the NPCs are supposed to gather?
This is cool but it should probably be made in Skypatcher form... needing patches for any NPC appearance or other change seems like an issue that makes this prohibitive to use unless you are very patient and dont mind making manual patches
AFAIK Skypatcher is the new method to make any of this type of mod because patching 10+ years of available mod is just not sustainable for us anymore
On the years and years before skypatcher appeared nothing was ever prohibitive or an issue regarding patches. It does not take much patience to either make a patch or request one if you wish and I´ll see what I can do. I do undertsand. Somethings here best not to leave them automated also. This mod could never be made with skypatcher.
Hi, any particular reason you've removed the "allow dead" flag from some of the NPC aliases in "Bound Until Death" quest? The quest doesn't start if the NPCs are dead, Rorlund for example (and some others).
Awesome mod. The only thing missing now is something like Wedding Carriages of Skyrim, because frankly it's ridiculous that the wedding quest teleports your spouse to the temple in Riften, then they have to walk back home. What the hell Bethesda? I'm the Dragonborn, I'm wealthy enough to pay for carriages for every single guest at the wedding but my spouse has to walk back to Solitude? On her own??!!??
true sons and men do not have open permissions on anything. for the ordinary people there are cbbe and unp versions, which I suspect makes use of armor addon records, unfortunately there would have to be different patches for each version, which I´m unwilling to do, sorry.
I'm seeing a condition to Vittoria's alias from Vittoria's Alternate Wedding not being forwarded in the quest MQ201, is it correct? I guess the actual question is: is it correct to load this mod's main plugin after Vittoria's Alternate Wedding, together with the patch?
I'm also having an issue with Roggvir's execution: when I enter Solitude the guards and Deeja and Jaree-Ra turn hostile towards me. Only the guards inside Solitude's worldspace do that. I have Save the Icerunner and FnS Red Wave installed and loaded before this mod. I think Deeja and Jaree-Ra keep being hostile until I start Jaree-Ra's quest.
I do not know what alias you are talking about. Load order does not matter, the patch always goes below. I do not know what mod is fns. I think I have a patch here for save the icerunner. Deeja and jaree turning hostile is not caused by this mod. That should never happen.
Sorry, it's *"The pirates who don't do anything". I tested with a previous save and a new character and I can confirm it's not this mod's fault. I'll check Save the Icerunner
UPDATE: after some testing I found out that the aggro seems to stop only if I enter Solitude, commit a crime and pay the fine (which is exactly the amount of the crime committed, I don't have a previous fine to pay on top). If I commit a crime before entering Solitude it doesn't work. I still have no idea what mod is causing this. Sorry for bothering.
