Yes. Everything that can overwrite Dyndolod resources should. I put Dyndolod resources pretty much at the top of my list and let everything overwrite. If you don't do that, your lods will have vanilla assets and textures instead of using your mods.
Looks like RUSTIC WINDOWS - Special Edition covers "textures/architecture/windhelm/whwindowinner02.dds" and "textures/architecture/riften/riftenwindowinner01.dds" whereas this mod currently does not. Are these intentional exclusions because these textures are relatively rare, or is this a minor oversight?
It's a small 512 parallax texture effect behind the windows when looking into a building to give the illusion of an interior and I felt the vanilla ones were fine.
Just answered my own question while AIO was installing. Yes, windows are now included!
Hi! Thanks for all these awesome mods.
Have the windows been added to AIO? I noticed that AIO was updated more recently here on Nexus, and your comment below from early October that it should be in the next update of AIO, and thought I'd confirm.
Sorry :(. I thought about it, but didn't wanna come up with new original art for all the signs or vector draw the current vanilla signs. I'm lazy like that. Someone has vector files, I can do it.
I'm not sure how I managed to sleep on this mod, but this has quickly become my favourite texture mod for Skyrim. I love how it still preserves Skyrim's feel while also making it next-gen. Something this mod does which I find a lot of mods struggle with is blending/tiling and maintaining a consistent art direction, which Skyland does pretty well. My only constructive criticism would be that there's often moss/greenery in areas where it doesn't always feel natural/realistic (like in the ground in Windhelm). Aside from that this is an absolutely gorgeous mod.
Thank you for the compliment. I wanted to stay close to vanilla as usual but just more HD and make the windows actually look like glass. Hand drawing the windows in Solitude wasn't fun but the results are nice. I like the glass patterns in Winterhold.
The vanilla ground textures in Windhelm have moss too. The only places I really added moss where it wasn't in Vanilla is Markarth and Nordic Ruins.
I loaded up the game again and you’re right, it just isn’t as noticeable in vanilla because everything is a bit “muddier”. Sorry about that. Also, I realized I meant to leave that comment on the Skyland AIO page so I apologize for maybe being a bit off topic in this thread.
The windows are beautiful, they were definitely worth the effort. Thank you for all your hard work.
Totally makes sense, just wanted to make sure it's in the cards. Great work, as always. Adds a lot of much-needed depth and realism to what are unfortunately otherwise lackluster windows in the base game.

Appreciate your time.
Also, this is Skyland Windows. Please keep the comments to what the mod page is about.
