Hi everyone!
I made this mod to take a break from stacking woodpiles for my next Diverse Woodpiles update. It's based on my idea for making the stonewalls of farmhouses less repetitious. I've adjusted the UVs of the SMIM farmhouses (kudos to Brumbek!) so that the woodwalls aren't the same all around the farmhouses. If you use a texture replacer with a prominent woodgrain, that repetition can become very obvious. I use Noble, and it definitely has that issue. The more detail your woodwalls have, the more pronounced the problem becomes. Take a look at the pics in the gallery for a better idea of what the mod does.
Install and overwrite when prompted. As this mod is based on SMIM, I believe that makes it compatible with BDS 2.1 out of the box. Let me know if a patch is needed, and I'll look into it. Simplicity of Snow compatible meshes are also available. Enjoy!
Compatibility:
I've tried this with a few different wood textures (True Nordic, Noble, Realistic Overhaul, Vanilla) and it works for more and less detailed woodgrain alike. Because this is a mesh replacer, you can install or uninstall it at any time to give it a test without any ill effects on your save.
A Simplicity of Snow version is available in the main downloads. A huge thank you to Wskeever for the open permissions to patch SOS versions.
You can use this alongside my Less Repetitive Farmhouse Stonewalls mod by downloading one of the Optional Downloads files. More info about that in the sticky post.
