Hi! For some reason nails aren't distributing in my game. Im playing Skyrim vr with wabbajack and I also have Immersive Jewelry installed, so I changed equipement slots to 60 in ssedit and nifscope. Could that be the reason why? And if not, what might be the issue? Thx!

I'm not very proficient with Skyrim tools, so could you please tell me where to find this record? Also how does one know what other slots are declared, in case changing SkinNaked record turns out to be too difficult for me? The reason why I decided to change equipement slot in the first place is because Immersive jewelry adds earrings that go to slot 61 and I would like to have earrings and nail equipped at the same time. On reflection, I have been working on adding body parts, rather than armor items, so my quick thoughts on SkinNaked might be irrelevant to this. The race record declares slots that will be viewable in 1st person and 61 is already declared. In Immersive Jewelry, slot 60 is used for very many left hand rings. If you want to see those rings in 1st person, you must add slot 60 to the race record. The race records are in skyrim.esm, so cannot be modified until they are overwritten into a new esp. In sseedit, select NordRace. RH mouse and copy as override into... You can choose new file and give it a name. I use Resouces.esp. As ear studs cannot be seen in 1st person, perhaps it is they that should have their slot changed?
Having said all that, the nails should be visible if you have changed them to slot 60 correctly. The base nif, in the Shape Data folder, and every item in the esp.
Oh, no-no the nails are working just fine when I craft them it's not that. My problem is that nobody has them - they are not distributed for some reason. Thus I was thinking that my meddling with equipement slots broke the script or something. I'm not supposed to start a new game am I?
Yea, but gloves or not not a single person in game got nails and since, I take it, the issue has nothing to do with equipement slots, I got no idea why. Guess I just have to suck it up. Thank you for your time though.
The new file did the trick! Thank you! Now I only have one final question - how to remove the check for whether an npc has gloves or not, since most of my gloves are fingerless anyway?
All of the nails are invisible, even after building them in BodySlide. And I don't know why but for some reason I can't equip some of the nails, 2 examples being Floral - Monochrome and Plain - Light Blue

Thanks for the feedback. I had all my concentration on the Hands Redone and I see that I have carried over some of my own custom settings into the standard hands. I will update right away and then we can see about the non-equipping.
I worked from the BHUNP version and the french textures don't fit them. If someone makes textures that will fit the nails as I have them now, I will incorporate them. This, of course, is very unlikely.

To exclude certain nails, remove them from the array in OGN Nails.esp Magic Effect.

The script checks for anything already worn in slot 33 (Hands) or slot 61. Anything in those slots will prevent distribution.
If that fails, try the optional file here.
The check for gloves is in the script. I have posted an optional version.
Note. Texture swapping of anything in 1st person view relies on SSE Engine Fixes, so install that.

On the NPCs are the nails a set colour? Random? Preset?
