So, I love this because on my file I can't seem to get bottles from shops, but I need it to be more efficient. Can you make it give 3 bottles at a time?
If there's a mod conflict that doesn't allow you to get bottles from shops, check to see if maybe it's because you have Well-Stocked Alchemists installed. If so, I've got a compatibility patch. Other than that, I could make a second crafting recipe that uses more resources but increases the number of bottles so that there would be two recipes: one for individual bottles and one for larger batches. I don't know when I'll get around to it but let me know if I'm understanding your request correctly.
You'll have to ask the creator of the original mod for that. This is simply an add-on to be able to craft the bottles; this mod doesn't touch any potion-crafting recipes that then use the bottles. :)
Just sharing a thought about holistic logic around empty bottles. Please correct me or guide to the mod which does that: - if empty bottle can be crafted then why also not leave an empty bottle when potion was used? Recycling is a good thing, right? Maybe someone find this idea interesting.
You do get an empty bottle back with Alchemy Requires Bottles Redux when you drink a potion. :) And you can buy them from alchemists. I thought it would be nice to also be able to craft them, so I made this mod, so now have a few different ways to get them.
There's also a mod that lets you dump out potions you don't need/want so you can get empty bottles that way. :)
Great idea! But why not add recipes for empty wine bottles from the base game too? It would also be nice to add a condition for players to have necessary items in their inventory for the recipe to appear, to reduce clutter.
What a coincidence. At the same time, I started a new playthrough and added a manual entry to esp. What about scaling the amount from the Blacksmith skill?: [1-20) = 1 [20-40) = 2 [40-60) = 3 [60-80) = 4 [80-100) = 5 [100] = 6 Ideally, of course, there would be a separate variable for the glassmaker’s skill and the output quantity would be tied to it. Add an item/book to the recipe requirements and distribute it and empty bottles in general using CIT, FLM etc. And even more ideal is a custom skill tree for a glassmaker with the discovery of various glass recipes and their discounts/increased output, but this is already taking me away)
Haha I like the enthusiasm! Making a whole glassmaker mod would be neat actually, but probably beyond my skills at the moment. I am still a noob. ^^ hehe
