Instructions on how to make each of the Khajiit Will Follow followers eligible for marriage. Also includes solutions for a few commonly encountered issues.


First Step

Enable marriage by speaking to Maramal about marriage at the Temple of Mara in Riften. This boots up Skyrim's marriage quests. Maramal may also be in the Bee and Barb if you never saw him there.



Bikhai:

• First, complete Bikhai's quest by retrieving his stolen locket
• Speak to Bikhai while wearing an Amulet of Mara
• Ask him about the bandits.
• After Bikhai rejects you and says "let's clear out some caves and make the world a better place," you'll need to clear 3 dungeons with him recruited as a follower
• Speak to Bikhai again while wearing the Amulet of Mara, and choose "Interested in me, are you?"
  
  

• Complete BOTH of Ma'kara's quests (see the walkthrough for Ma'kara's quests here)
• Speak to Ma'kara while wearing an Amulet of Mara and choose "Interested in me, are you?"
  
  

• Complete Nanak's quest by finding the Mythic Dawn Commentaries for him.
• Read at least 30 books
• While Nanak is recruited as a follower, choose his "Read any good books lately?" dialogue and complete at least 4 book talks with him
• Once Nanak completes the conversation that begins "Hm... You know, you don't have to do this," he will become eligible for marriage
  
  

• Complete S'ariq's quest, making sure to grab the journal from Gatka-dar when you retrieve the Skeleton Key
• Speak to S'ariq and choose the "This journal was on Gatka-dar's body" option
• Either give the journal to S'ariq or lie to him about its contents
• If you lie about the journal, S'ariq will immediately become available for marriage
• If you give S'ariq the journal, after 2 days, he will have an additional dialogue option that begins, "S'ariq, are you okay?"
• After completing that conversation, he'll become available for marriage.
