    Introduction

    Tutorial to add custom maps to the animations and displays


    The easy way

    Add the keyword MapTypeGeneric to one of your shield maps, and that's it. The display will show a generic map:




    The hard way

    If you mod provides a map, you can create a misc item in a .esp file and point its model path to the map. Using the generic map as example:


    Go to View>Variables.
    Then create a new Variable to detect your maps, by copying the existing Skyrim map and changing its settings later:


    Use paste option:


    Then rename the variable and choose the keyword or the shields from your custom map:



    Go to View>Display Manager>...

    I did some more testing and noticed a few small issues which I will be addressing over the next few days, it's nothing serious.

    There are some minor graphical issues caused by a last minute change to one of my scripts a couple of days ago, it's causing some graphical effects to not show up when certain abilities are activated. There's also another issue where Bethesda didn't add keywords to all of their shouts. Meaning that abilities which rely on the shout keyword being present won't function for every shout, only the shouts that Bethesda set up properly in the first place.

  • Change makeup

    To quickly change the makeup for any version, you need to go to your Game Data file:

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data

    Then go to Textures\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\Asmodeus_SunnyAndAria.esp 

    There you will find 4 different textures, the main one consisting of 8 numbers without extention.

    1  - Rename the main by adding an extension
    ex: 00000000__4

    2 - Rename the one you are interested in, remove the extension "__?" but keep the 8 numbers of the ID

    And that's it, all you have to do is launch your game and enjoy the character.

    You can even do it during the game, but you will have to open the console, ...

    Sanguinaire overhauls the vanilla lycanthropy gameplay to deliver a far more creative experience than the one in the base game. In Sanguinaire, as a werewolf, the player will not simply gain a transformation power, and joining the companions is not the only way the player can achieve Lycanthropy.

    Disease: The player can contract Sanies Lupinus from other warewolves in the game if they are not already a werewolf themselves. If the disease is not cured, the player will succumb to the change after 3 days of inclubation.

  • Need Your Opinion: Norway Spruce vs. Sitka Spruce

    Hi everyone, I'm currently working on  new trees that aims to enhance the Nordic atmosphere of the game by introducing more realistic tree models. I'm trying to decide between using Norway spruce (Picea abies) and Sitka spruce (Picea sitchensis). 
    Norway spruce is native to Northern Europe and is commonly associated with the Nordic landscape, which might add a more authentic feel to the game. On the other hand, Sitka spruce, although native to North America, has been introduced in some Nordic regions and could also be a viable option. 
    Which type of spruce do you think would best enhance the Nordic atmosphere of Skyrim? Your feedback will be invaluable in helping me create a mod that feels true to the world of Skyrim.

  • Returning to moding

    Hi. Just a little message.  I used to Mod for morrowind and stopped around 13 years ago when my PC broke. i went without a PC for about a year and just never got back into modding. I decided to try with Skyrim SE so i just made this simple .esp first while i get to grips with the creation kit again. Took me about 3 hours to complete because i had a bit of trouble figuring out how to equip the NPC, set hostility and add custom spells which is a little different from how i remember Morrowind Construction set being, i still have no idea how to guarentee the NPC casts summon skeleton before anythign else.  I have always just enjoyed being creative so i will likely be sticking to it and coming up with more mods in the future. starting simple and working my way up.
