I got a question hopefully someone can answer.

Im trying to make Werebears bigger , I have tried making them larger ( scale wise) In Niftscope but all it does is turn the face invisible and they are (Werebear body) the same mass/height.I tried changing from 1.00 to 2.00 or doubling the mass/height of them.
Anyone got a clue how i can do this?

Hmm, its totally do-able, but to make it affect player werebears it would have to affect werewolves too, is that ok?
I'll take a look at nifscope and report back in a min!

Edit: Well, its possible to do in nifscope by editing their skeleton file (its shared for both werebears and werewolves), but I don't recommend that way. It does increase their size, but the game doesnt know it, so it doesnt increase their movement speed(and whatever else) to go with it, so.. they're bigger, but move in slow motion since their going the same speed as a normal sized werebeast.

So instead, I uploaded an .esp that changes their size by changing it under their race, its under Misc Files. I just increased them very slightly, because I'm not sure how big they can get while still being able to fit through doors! You can adjust it to your liking with xEdit~ But just FYI, you can change werebears separately from werewolves this way, BUT I assume you want to change this for you as a player werebear? So umm. I hate to be the one to tell you that your life is a lie, but uh.. You're not actually a werebear.. (Sorry?) Because [insert long technical reasons here], player werebears are actually werewolves in werebear skins. But the good news is that if you change it for werewolves and it will change it for your player werebear! :D

Thank you ! I did not even think about trying race in the CS ...Duh !
Actually I am more interested in making my summoned Werebear larger ( modded spell) . Im am playing a rather large /tall character and when i summon my Werebear it looks kinda puny beside me.

Works fine now it dosent look like a teddy bear next to me .

Ah, well you should be able to adjust that in xEdit too, just load up whatever the mod is that gives the spell and change scale or height of the actor in there!

Thanks for the info Ill give it a try.
      *Update*
That worked like a charm ! I used xEdit loaded up the spell and adjusted size in custom non player race. My first attempt I changed height from 1.00 to 2.00 and weight from 50 to 75 ....it was as large as a mammoth ! LOL I settled for 1.2 and 60.
Thank you again for helping me out. Saved me using up a ESP slot as well

      Thanks !
I been working on her a LONG time, the mashup fur armor is bits and pieces from all kinds of armor mods. I have different tops , hood, mask .....the works. Fur shield as well. Never could find fur armor I liked so I been working on my own.
She is kinda a cross between a ranger and a berzerker. She is tall and muscular. She is a werebear and can summon her werebear self for 3 minutes in a pinch. Using lesser power so no casting is involved.
She is kinda loosely based on Beorn from LOTR . I call her Brienne Brunnbjorn

Its a add on to Summon Shadow Merchant , replaces crow with owl called Barney . I custom colored mine in Gimp
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/87437

The crow looks kinda poor in game but the owl looks great.

You're welcome, thanks for the comment! :D
Textures should be done in a day or two, they're almost done now but I'm learning how to do FOMOD to make installing easier/more compatible, then I need to test each of them in game and make adjustments for whichever don't quite look right!

As for other werebear related things.. The next mod I make is going to be a werewolf/werebear overhaul/perk mod! :D It's probably going to take forever, but you can check out the initial ideas and post any ideas you have in this thread! Or if you're interested in a hunger system for your werebear, Werewolf Hunger should also work on werebears~

Sounds good. I added Moonlight tales eyes and fur textures to your mesh , looks pretty cool.
Never tried Werewolf Hunger but i do use Real Feeding.

I dont know if it's possible but is there a way we can replacr the werebear mesh by simply replacing the mesh file without esp plugin?

Yes, you can just disable the .esp, the esp is just to enable the female mesh on female characters, it will still work fine without it, they'll just all use the male mesh. :)

hm.. dunno.. the were-bears still look as derpy xD something in that mesh doesn't seem to fit xD
i however, don't know what would be if this was attempted with a mesh of a normal bear

With a normal bear? That would require so much more editing haha and idk how well it would go since they use different skeletons, I've never tried something like that before..

yeah that would indeed be a lot of reshaping xD but one would only need to re-paint the weights to a were-creature skeleton later

Working on a new set of werebear textures!
Soon you will be able to pick your fur/eye/teeth colors. :)

In the meantime, it is compatible with FURtastic for fur and teeth colors, just overwrite FUR's mesh with Tamaska's. If you want FUR's eyes, you'll need to manually rename the files because they use a custom file name. (This is because by default, werebears use the same eye textures as werewolves.)

SE version!? Yes! Soon! Finishing the next update, then I'll port over the new version! :)
