Beautiful, well made armor set. I wish there was an option to have regular pants instead of the chainmail greaves though.

Hei NordWarUA add this armor to the Leveled List so that Npcs will use it and will make more sense to use the armor

hey! first of all, I love this texture so much.

I was wondering if you could make a version where this armor replaces the ugly vanilla skyrim steel texture (the one lydia uses). there is no good retexture for steel yet so this would make a good replacement in my opinion!

I would like that as well, Lydia's steel set sticks out as an eyesore amongst the other sets NordwarUA made replacers for.
You see lots of steel plate mods on the nexus but almost none for the regular steel.

Is it possible to add a viking chainmail as a standalone armor? :) i love your mods!

Your armor mods are outstanding.I was playing Skyrim SE and came back to normal version. In this version of the game the chainmail armor is missing the helmet I don't know why.No one in the coments seems to have my problem :(

Was the weapon adjustment in the ArmorAddon of the helmets set to -4.0 intentionally?

I guess I accidentally set this ArmorAddon in -4.0. What are doing this numbers in the game?

To put it simply, the weapon adjust value moves the weapon position in 3rd person when sheathed in or away from the armor. A value of zero denotes that the game uses the base sheathed weapon node for the armor that was positioned by the armor's creator without any adjustment. This node is pushed out as you increase the value. Bulky armors need a higher value otherwise the holstered weapon usually will clip the armor. I can't tell if you're asking for that answer or not.

In my game, I noticed that males wearing this armor have their arms dropped closer to their sides as well as two handed weapons on backs clipping into the body which is why I opened xEdit to look under the hood. I saw that the helmet weapon adjust value was -4.0 changed it to 0 went back in game and males were standing around and walking with their arms in the default position. Weapons were returned to non clipping sheathed positions. I don't know why the animation was affected, that's a head scratcher. Maybe the game isn't meant to read negative values for weapon adjust and it didn't know what to do. Like I said, in all the armors I've looked at, downloaded, tinkered with in xEdit, I've never seen a negative value for weapon adjust. Not even in the Skyrim.esm have I seen it, so I'm fairly certain it's not supposed to be negative. Just some constructive information here. I'm not criticizing this mod at all. I could be the only one that noticed it or the only one who is experiencing this odd behavior. I really like this armor.

Thanks for the info. So would not know without you about the cause of the problem of the position of the hands. I will update this mods soon.

Incredible armour indeed, I decided to give nexusmods a glance and re-installed the game upon seeing this.

    Looks fantastic in game.

Incredible armor set. It's almost as if you took what I had envisioned for my character directly from my mind. Thank you for taking the time out of your life to bring joy to others I'll post a picture when I can.

Would you ever consider making a kind of plate armor set. Bit like this :https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26313/? Lots of modders seem to use the same resouces as this mod for various plate/knight sets but there quite old and low quality now. Your plate armor (for the starks) looks great. Would be cool to see it on something like that. Keep up the good work :)
