Not everyone uses the Unofficial Patch, and it is not a modder's resource. The "fix" for the masks involves a slight tweak of the descriptions, not affecting gameplay at all. I would need permission to use the descriptions, and I can't see how it's worth it.
If you have Immersive College of Winterhold, the book should be found on the ground to the right of the enchanting area.
This is absolute genius! I much prefer quests like this and the "Stones of Barenziah Quest Markers" to help track and seek these collectibles. This also makes tracking down the last of the Dragon Claws that much easier. Thanks for this straightforward, helpful mod.
Interesting way to control the progress in immersive way. Thanks! For those, who new to modding I would like to recommend also the Dragon Priest Mask Journal mod from creator of the famous Better Quest Objectives. It has interesting way to obtain the dragon masks too.

But you should include the Unofficial Skyrim Patch fixes to the masks.
And it conflicts with the Immersive College of Winterhold mod (a very popular one), you can't find the book. Maybe a patch will be a good idea.
