It doesn't replace any vanilla color, it adds five new colors that can be used either when creating or modifying the PC, or by the random NPCs.
Accordingly to the official Creation Kit's Wiki ( https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=ColorForm ), given that: "Note that because adding a hair color modifies the Race, it may conflict with other mods that also modify the same Race. " the RedHair plugin should be loaded last in the load order.
Of course, it just takes to modify the vanilla rgb values.
Take note of which vanilla colors you would like to be changed - i.e. moving the slider from left to right, hair color #1, #2, etc. Then choose from this table https://www.99colors.net/color-names which new values you would like to apply. Then send me a private message like this: - Color #1: https://www.99colors.net/name/blond - Color #2: https://www.99colors.net/name/electric-purple etc.
Keep in mind that Skyrim needs the RGB values to be halved, else the colors would be bright as neon lights. E.g. - https://www.99colors.net/name/emerald - Red: 80; Green 200; Blue: 120 - Must be set in Skyrim as - Red: 40; Green 100; Blue: 60
Just to say that halving odd values could lead to slightly different colors depending on how you round them, e.g. 83,55,61 -> 41, 26, 30 OR 42, 27, 31
If you just need them for your character, then yes, but if you need them for NPCs, then you do need an extra mod because: NPCs can not use colors that are not included in the game's hair colors list and aren't added to their race's settings.
That's what this mod is trying to fix: why are there NO red haired people in Skyrim? Even the game's "auburn" is actually pale brown. I guess that Bethesda's developers have never heard of Erik the Red.

And..by chance, could you make a replacer, to change those ugly greenish blond vanilla shades and turn them into your colors?
