Hi there. My sword doesn't glow. Now the sword simply looks like a candy laying on the floor.
Maybe this is because i optimized the mod with Ordenador? Maybe they're not compatible, i dunno.

I will be very glad if anyone would give advice/fix on this problem :)

I would like to have an outer sword like yours.
And use the effects of this: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/10715?tab=posts&BH=0
Well, or at least just use any wave to attack.

Cool mod, how did you get them to glow? I'm trying to get into making mods, specifically an armor that has glowing runes. Please do tell.

It's really easy if you're familiar with setting up nifs/texture maps at all:

      1. Create a glow map texture - this is a version of your texture that says which 'parts' should glow. Can be black and white or colored, doesn't matter too much.
      2. Set the shader type of your BSLightingShaderProperties to "Glow Shader"
      3. Also in BSLightingShaderProperties, add Glow_Map as a property to Shader Flags 2.
      4. In your BSShaderTextureSet, add your glow map texture in the third slot, typically with the affix _g to indicate glow map.

And then you're done! Your nif will cute off the glow map for what should be illuminated. If you created a black and white glow map, you can change the color of the glow via the 'Emissive Color' property in your shader properties, as well as adjusting the emissive multiple for making it more or less bright.

Great mod, but the hilt looks a bit too thin and small IMO

This comment is made even though I didn't download the mod, it is based solely on the images (I don't have a working skyrim setup at the moment).

These sword looks amazing. I absolutely love the design and the texture. The only concern I have is that I find the glow too strong. don't mind the sword having a shade of light, but there, with these color, some of them looks like a glow stick. Which can be what you're going for in certain case. But I'm curious how it would do with a lighter glow, like a black light.

Regardless, these sword are wonderful to look at

Hey, I'm just visiting again to let you know in case you didn't that there's a missing face on the hilt/guard of the sword. You can see it here on the right.

IDs will vary depending on your load order. If you don't want to craft them, type
      help crystal
and check the WEAP types for the list of names.

Alternatively, save yourself the pain of adding things manually (and hitting up authors for IDs) by using AddItemMenu https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64905
