Joined to install Ultimate Skyrim only to find Automaton has (how is that remotely reflective of the name?) no automatic download support until post 1.2 versions apparently, and 1.3x crashes with some lame window api dpi frame error obviously expecting the user to have Windows 10 installed (why would you do this?)
Don't recommend using this to be honest. The installation itself was problematic, saying i needed to click fix to sort out some paths issue, and when clicked it did nothing at all. The actually system itself is rather confusing to an inexperienced modder and its rather alot of fuss about nothing in my opinion. i much prefer the traditional method
I get this error every time I try to setup nexus mods integration https://gyazo.com/a090597ab30e952f6db189ec2ae80c95 the logs say [Initialize] Initializing API base , [Initialize] Apikey empty , I have tried resetting my API key on the nexus site but it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.
same issue here! not sure where to go from here or how to fix this. I have a support request submitted with Nexus currently. Hopefully i will hear back from them soon
Might I make a suggestion that would make this thing be infinitely more popular and usable for many. Program it to automatically install modpacks already downloaded if someone has making sure it can answer any questions with the mod packs as well.
Then, even if people don't actually get online mods with them that much, we can still automate our own installs as batch install on mods is a function Vortex is sorely missing.
Is there a location where users can find a list of completed modpacks? As of right now I'm only aware of the Ultimate Skyrim Modpack, and the Essential Mods modpack from Reddit. So while I love the software (overlooking the semi-frequent crashes), I'm having difficulties reusing the program to any extent.
Just one question, might seem a bit silly but I need to ask. Do I have to use a mod pack or can I just use the mods I already have, because i'd like to be able to only use the mods I really want with out having to use a pack that might have mods I don't want. :O

But... that's the entire point of Automaton... why do you want to use Automaton at all, then?
