After talking to the NPC on the boat to take me to Solstheim, upon loading screen, the game always crashes. It will never let me go to Solstheim with this mod enabled.
thanks for the comment:) i will definitely take another look at this mod(especially with all the stuff i learned in fallout 4 ck), but that is definitely on the list. it will probably be quite a while before i touch skyrim again though.
This mod looks great, but for some reason I can't install it with MO. I'm using MO Classic 1.3.15, and my browser is the latest version of Firefox. I've tried redownloading both manually and with MO managing the download. I've also tried moving the archive into MO's "downloads" folder and just using the mod ID to query the info, but it just won't install. I've been able to install other mods today (i.e. The Raven of Raven Rock) and it seemed to work fine for those, so either the download is corrupt somehow or there's something up with the Nexus site itself. Any ideas?
thanks for the comment, hmm i know the nmm has issues like this as well(never used MO) but its just kinda been left to die, when i have time ill look into why its happening on MO might just be the install path or somethin, but best thing to do until i find out the issue is to just drop the esp. in the data folder(of skyrim):)
Thanks for replying. :) I dropped the .esp into my data folder and made sure it was set to load, but it just crashed my game upon loading when I had the mod active. It's not a missing master file--I have the Dragonborn DLC--so I'm not sure what the problem might be. Very odd. Going by the screencaps though, great work on the mod! It looks much more lively now! :D
Hi I have all 3 official dlc´s. I tried it 3 times with v1.1, but no luck. :( My NMM says that it can´t be installed because this mod is incomplete. :OAnd when I tried install it manual my game crashed every time even befor I loaded any save. :( :(It is really sad, because your Solstheim look so awesome.
Looks really interesting, I especially like the look of the new port. Have you added anything like new businesses and such with this mod as well? I use another Raven Rock mod right now that adds some shops but it's a tad bit buggy.
Downloaded the mod, checked it out and I gotta say it looks really good, you should definitely continue developing it! You've got the foundation down nicely and it looks really beautiful with those stone docks and rebuilt buildings, I was also really happy that it worked well with Elianora's Raven Rock home just outside the city gates. Just add some merchants and some Imperials to staff the embassy and EE Office and you're good to go, really.
The only change I would suggest is perhaps having a Redoran guard HQ or something as opposed to an Imperial garrison. That said, having an Imperial embassy and East Empire office makes perfect sense.
Looking forward to any other mods from you and any updates on this one!
Thanks for the comment:) i have slowed down abit on modding skyrim due to real life stuffs but depending on how somethings play out i may carve out more time for it, but i might just wait for beyond skyrim to release, or at least a large portion of it, before i return to skyrim. thanks again!!
the game seems to crash whenever I have it activated I do have a lot of mods so I'm not mad about it that aside it looks great and I will see if I can get it working.
hmmm strange, have you been able to run larger/condensed city mods? cus this mod only has a little bit of frame loss in the city depending on your pc specs
good thinking, but the gate of the port is from a tactical point of view a deathtrap, and ships can hardly manouver there way out once in.... Imo you should rebuild the parts that reaches the water to be more believeble.... Nevertheless a great idea Greetz from Ninove, Belgium
Also strategically speaking, the Empire is not in any position to re-take Solstheim even should they win the civil war. It's been about 160 years since they abandoned it to House Redoran and Morrowind, and it would most likely mean war should they try it, especially now that the mines are reopened. With their already depleted forces fighting a civil war, and the need to prepare for the inevitable war with the Thalmor, they can neither afford the troops for a second front, or drive Morrowind into an alliance with Somerset.
thanks for your comments! :) that was my toughest decision to make guess i made the wrong one lol, in my mind they it was just about defending the port from siege and keep the feel of everything clustered together in the stormy atmosphere, plus the fact they aren't speed boats zipping around corners lol, but never the less i will change it and have a new version up tomorrow, and the reason i kinda gave myself(and might implement later) was that they were there because the EEC requested it for security given solstheims current state lol, and that there are references in-game that suggest the full might of the empire isn't prominent in skyrim and the fact that the EEC would be funding most of it and that its ebony gave enough reasons lol, thanks again:)
Love it! You have to do a Tes5edit cleaning. It will save gamers a load of errors =) [Undeleting and Disabling References done] Processed Records: 1598, Undeleted Records: 241, Elapsed Time: 00:00 <Warning: Plugin contains 7 deleted NavMeshes which can not be undeleted> [Removing "Identical to Master" records done] Processed Records: 1598, Removed Records: 165, Elapsed Time: 00:00
Thank you for this! Although, the Imperial Legion should have no troop presence on Solstheim. I do however like the idea of an East Empire Company embassy.
Mod does need to be cleaned with TES5Edit as others have stated.
Keep up the good work! I really like the idea behind the mod.
thanks for the comment:), i knew someone was going to say this lol. but im a pro empire guy, and the reason i kinda gave myself(and might implement later) was that they were there because the EEC requested it for security given solstheims current state lol.

Using the original version keeping ITM, etc. didn't gave any issue.
