    Link to Simple Children SE

    *PSA*

    Regarding Dark Faces:

This has always and will ever be related to load order and install order of your mods. Make sure that Simple Children is installed last and FaceGenForKids.esp is loaded low in your load order. If some other mod edits the kids in any way, they will overwrite the faces provided in this mod, causing dark faces.

I will reiterate that there are many patches located in the Optional section of the Downloads, and off-page patches, if available, will be listed in the Mod Specific Compatibility section of the Description.

I've tried to make the description as concise and straightforward as possible, so please read through it carefully.

Hey all, I am in a bug-testing stage while I still have LE Skyrim installed. For the next few weeks please try and post as many bugs as possible, because afterwards I will be uninstalling LE again, and will consider this mod feature complete. Thanks for checking this mod out!

Late reply, but you could just use this mod. Its meant for tk children, but it doesn't have an esp, only meshes. so it has no required masters. Just delete everything other than the hood meshes, aka everything in the 'wet and cold' folder. Briefly testing it, it seems to fix the problem, but npcs won't auto-equip hoods if I use console commands to change the weather, so I don't know if I'm putting the right hoods on them or not. There is no records for hoods specifically for children, so maybe they just use an alternate mesh. The same hood worked on both adults and children with proper re-sizing. So it probably works?

edit: Upon further testing, some of the male hairs clip slightly with the hoods even with the mod I suggested. I tried to download the bigger heads version, but it instead gives me the patch for redguard children. I've notified the mod author, so maybe he'll fix the file.

edit2: The SE mod page for this says it works fine with Wet and Cold. However, I've found a minor clipping issue with Adara's head when she wears a 'fur hood'. The thick hood doesn't have this issue though. Most children work fine with the fur hood though it seems, at least better than with the mod I mentioned. I suspect its some glitch due to her being a redguard. The redguard fix though only makes her completely invisible. The mod itself doesn't actually make any changes that this mod doesn't already have. No idea what's going on.

Thanks for the mod, it is truly a bless to see these children and no potato faced gremlins !
I'm really enjoying this mod right now but have a strange little bug where every child I meet have grey eyes, would you know how to fix this ? I tried reinstalling the mod multiple times and have no mods altering eyes !

Anyway, thanks again for this great mod !

Is there some way to remove Helgi's eyelashes? I think those are part of the eye textures, but I'm not entirely sure. They look bad because the ghost shader removes the transparency and makes them a flat texture.

If anyone plans to use the patch for Beyond Skyrim - Bruma (BSB_FacegenForKids.esp), there's an error regarding 2 NPCs pertaining to their [Packages] section in the plugin which doesn't match the current version of BS Bruma.

    The records affected are:

    xx0D25FE - Lavina Falegus
    xx0D25FF - Silvio Crextus

This caused a missing main menu bug for me when I loaded the patch (merged plugin in my case).

A quick fix in TES5Edit can be made to alleviate this problem, where you can drag & drop the records from the master file to the said patch record to match the [Packages] data of both plugins. The fixed patch can be safely merged into the main FacegenForKids plugin or any other merger plugin you may already have. Hope this helps.

    Amazing mod by the way!

I'm having massive issues getting this mod to work and I can't for the life of me figure out what I'm doing wrong. I definitely have all the tri files from TK, I've added them using MO and tried to add them to this mod manually but both methods still land me with this issue. Nothing says it's conflicting with the files from this mod either in MO's system. All the kids with vanilla faces have their textures just fine but every kid that's affected by either the main mod or the patches has weird pale skin on their faces and vanilla hair and I don't understand why. Their faces are warped like they're trying to be the face shapes they're supposed to portray but they're way too extreme - nothing like the nice way they look in the pictures. The kidmer kids in particular look horrifying.

EDIT: I had my suspicions so I gave it a go and yep, it all works as soon as it get rid of Prince and the Pauper. And yes, I added the patches when I was trying to use it. Is there some magic hidden mod order for that that you're supposed to use? LOOT never seems to be able to figure PNP out.
