which format did you use for compressing the textures?
i found this problem rencently. i guess my poor pc cant handle this compression format, so i uncompress the texture(gkbbranch10.dds) and that fix the bug for me

if someone have the same problem like mine, you can try this method

You sure you don't have "Acid Rains In Skyrim" mod installed? :D
Which texture in particular caused that glitch on your PC, gkbbranch10?
What do you mean by 'uncompression', what format?

      ?
yes. I only uncompress the gkbbranch10  and it fix the problem
you can see gkbbrunch10  have the different size than others so i think you may compress that textures into a special format?

uncompress means 8.8.8.8 ARGB , but i think DTX5 should be fine too

It was my guess that gkbbranch10 is "buggy", because it's the only one in DXT5 and has no mipmaps. The rest of the textures are in DXT3 with mipmaps. That was probably my lapse when I was saving the textures. Unfortunately, I can't remember which modder's texture I used as a source. But as you've already fixed it, I guess it's okay. Sorry for taking your time and spoiling the game atmosphere! I am really sorry :(

    Hi,

The new hotfix file "Reach Trees Reborn 1.0 Hotfix" does not have the correct folder structure -- there is no 'textures' folder in the archive.  If installing with Mod Organizer it puts it in the wrong place -- you have to manually move the file ?gkbbranch10.dds from the archive into the folder \textures\landscape\trees.

    Regards,

    dan.

Running TexGen from DynDOLOD 3.0 Alpha 56, I got the following error:

    Error: File not found textures\landscape\trees\gkbbranch_N1.dds. Used by Meshes\landscape\trees\tundradriftwood01.nif Skyrim.esm TreeTundraDriftWoodTree01 [TREE:000B8F53]

The mod contains gkbbranch1_N.dds, but I checked in NifSkope and the last two texture sets in the nif refer to gkbbranch_N1.dds.

Thank you, Renngar! Yes, the texture path was incorrect. I'm uploading hotfix patch for this, and a new (fixed) version. Thank you, friend!

I'm an experienced modder and installed this on Skyrim SE, after checking to make sure meshes and textures were fine.  One particular item, reachbush01.nif, is really ugly.  After much pulling of hair, I realized this mod was responsible.  A red bush in 2 dimensions, yuck.  Paper thin leaves that look quite bad.  Yes, I installed the LOD files.  When I remove this mod, the said bush is a beautiful 3D green.  I use Veydosebrom.  Not sure if I will just edit out that one bush using xEdit, and otherwise keep the mod.

    Good morning everyone, I'm Mariulin.
Given that in any case I thank the author of this MOD for sharing it, I must however point out that after installing it (both the new tree models and the billboards) my LOD has gone completely to pieces, and I can no longer reconstruct it even after uninstalling these files; I'll probably have to reinstall the game and the 336 MODs that were already there...
I wish everyone a good day.

    P.S.
Correction: another MOD was causing the problem.
    I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Can't help much with those, sorry.

I am very glad you like it! Thank you the pictures, they are what I've been waiting for to be honest!

Okay, yes, I can recomend a few mods which in my opinion are able to make the game look a bit more vivid and beautiful with no essential harm to performance.

But first, I'd ask you to try this plugin for Reach Tree Reborn:
      https://yadi.sk/d/m6kLfUdArxRNUA
It's meant to reduce the number of red leaves trees in the regions like North Planes and Coast and other regions like Whiterun Hold and Reach. One of your pictures with two similar trees reminded me of that plugin I made recently. It's still WIP. I am hunting down the unwanted lush trees and turn them into withered ones. Vanilla reach trees and tundra driftwood trees are beautiful as they are after all.

      Next. I am using this:
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2458?tab=files
It's Transparent and Refracting Icicle and Frost Atronach. I really think transparent icicles look way better than non-transparent.

Next. I am using this (with some texture tweaks made by myself):
      https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74048
It's Ultra HD Transparent Snowflakes. If you're interested in more performance and true white (instead of greyish) version, try this:
      https://yadi.sk/d/F3ZExghI2OPUbQ

I also made my own assortment of PineTrees. So, if you're interested try this:
      https://yadi.sk/d/FhaXD292_qAvug

Let's take a break at this point. I'll let you know as soon as I recall something else, okay?

And of course, I am curious about what you can recomend me!

This... looks extremely odd. I have no idea what this could be. Sorry
I can only advise you not to waste your time on this garbage any more. Please remove the files from your game, and try to forget this nightmare, alright?

Thank you for your kind words. I just share what I have in game. I never seen any decent looking LOD in Skyrim so far. It's always too obviously generic, ugly and stupid. That's why I'm not gonna make a fuss about these trees possible disappearing in the distance and not turning into a flat cartoon image with no Alpha, no 3d, no receiving shadows, ambient colors and so farther.

These are the best Reach tree replacers I've seen. Great design, all models sufficiently different but still sufficiently similar, and the textures are really good, no weird normals that glow in low lighting like others. If you have the patience at all, Sheson has a manual within DynDOLOD that tells you how to make light 3d models that can be used by DynDOLOD to generate full 3d LOD of those trees that look amazing. Takes some work, but if you want to do it you'll only make your mod even better. Anyway, thanks for these excellent trees.

While having 3d hybrid models for DynDOLOD would be a dream, billboards help, too. GamerPoets has a great tutorial on how to make them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFsIbCJWH_c

I tried my hand at making a set of billboards for the three full tree models (not the shrubs that don't need them).

If you want to add them to your files, you're welcome.
