Looks great, except for an issue with the female version of the armor. From the knee up, their legs are invisible

Hi, I am sorry about the delay...almost a year after your post.

I have a weird glitch in this mod when I play it, but for me it's MUCH more minor than missing legs...so I have been ignoring it. When I have some time I'll take another look at this.

If you are around and still have issues, could you send me a screenshot?

    Hello Vladimir_Marduk,

after installing and checking at dawnstar all the guards ( stormcloacks ) still have their regular outfit . No furs or anything .
Meshes, textures and esp are placed/activated correctly .....
In mod manager it is placed as low as possible.....
    Any fix for this????

      I apologize that I haven't responded sooner.

I'm not quite sure what the problem might be - but I have made an update which may have fixed whatever problem you're having.

Hey i ran into a strange problem, my guards are loading with invisible torsos instead of the mod being loaded. I have both winterhold and dawnstar armors downloaded. Wondering what the issue is. If i deactivate one, they have pink torsos instead.

Hi, can you give more specifics about how you installed or what kind of mods you have? Are you using NMM to install and deactivate? Do you have any other mods that impact the textures of the guard armors (the pink indicates that it can find the mesh but not the texture)?

      I'll investigate some tonight.

      Hi Jasenkov,

I opened up the files required for the mod on my machine using nifskope. Everything looks to be in order there. I also compared what was shown on nifskope with what's included in the download file for this mod. If anything, I included too many meshes than I needed, which wouldn't cause the issue you're seeing.

Google tells me that it's likely an issue with competing mods or a problem with the installation. What mods do you have included in your game? Some may interfere. Also, where was my mod installed - what does your skyrim/data folder look like?

Fek, this is actually better than the vanilla. Too bad I ran out of plugin spaces.

Very cool! could you make the standalone version? because I don't want the guards wear the same armor like my player character, thank you

At the moment, unfortunately not. I want to get through all the holds first before moving on to make this player wearable. I haven't even bothered to put first person views on any of these armors, and the skin textures are not quite right on them either - which is why the guards I post will always have golves/boots on now.

Awesome. Only thing missing is for someone to make a mod that'll make npcs wear warmer clothing in the colder areas. Yes, I know Nords can resist the cold but it alway bothers me how they wear casuel clothes.

The Wet and Cold mod has a bunch of features, and will make NPCs wear fur hoods and cloaks in colder areas. You also have the option of making it so their breath is visible, and their clothes get snowy. It has an in-game interface too, so you can turn certain features on and off. It's a nice addition to stuff like this.

Yep, I'd agree with eurozom(bie?); my intent was to use this mod in conjunction with wet and cold as well as the open faced masks I mention in the original description.

I really like the style of this uniform (I think this one is slightly better-looking than your Winterhold version).

Are you thinking of doing similar changes for the guards of other cities, or just the cold locations?

Thanks! This was intentionally better looking than the Winterhold one just simply because Winterhold may not have enough money to arm the guard properly, what with half the town in the sea.

I am currently working on something for Solitude and then I'll move to Windhelm. These will take a but more time on the placement side of things because, if I recall correctly, these holds have a fair amount of cold climate (Haafingar Mountain Range and Eastmarch has Windhelm itself and the surrounding areas) and there's also a fair amount of temperate to warm areas in those holds as well (sulphur pools, for example).

I have the intention of doing the other holds, but I am unsure what to do/add to their armors. I started with Winterhold and The Pale because they are easiest.
