   Enhanced Character Edit has an option for high quality Uv mapping for that you have to put this in the .ini file
   
   [Display]
   iTintTextureResolution=2048

   in my skyrim folder i do not have the files named above just loaders, then when i go in the data folder there is no skse folder..

   Two great hi-res replacements for vanilla paints etc are PAINTERLY and High Resolution Scars so you do have alternatives!
