great idea! but do you know if these meshes are the smaller, thinner UNP meshes? the original nifs were huge on most women (guys too unless in heavy armor), but at some point, i picked up thinner nifs that worked better, especially on females. are these the thinner style?
thank you very much ! These meshes are the original meshes taken from Dragten's mod. If I find the time to resize them for standard bodytypes (CBBE and UUNP) I will do so in the future. But unfortunately my time is very limited. Also please take in mind that there will be clipping on different clothes/ armors due to the fact that these are simple 0 and 100 percent meshes. They would have to be resized for every armor and clothes that are out there which is impossible. So if I resize them we would have to establish some kind of norm for the body /armor /clothes they should fit to as some sort of compromise. If you are familiar with Outfit Studio or Blender you can fit them to your favourite armor yourself. I hope that answers your question.
hopefully you will read this post. Did you mean this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50217. It has some changed meshes and I would either have to look at those too and change them in Blender or I could realign my meshes. I would rather do the latter because I would not have to ask for permission.
You reckon you could rerelease this for the SSE version of Bandoliers?
It uses a different, single ESP unlike the LE version. I would port this myself, but i'm just not sure the ESP changes means it needs further tweaking unlike how you would normally port a LE mod.
Hi, I have to admit that I don't use SE yet. But I can take a look into that matter. I you want to try it yourself, you could just load the SE esp in TesEdit and look at the entries for the bandoliers bags and pouches and compare them to the ones in my mod. The base mod is simply the Bandoliers mod without the CCOR alterations, so it would be easiest to compare the base mod for SE with the base mod posted here first. I will investigate this further.
Would it be possible to just use your meshes without the esp? I'm using another esp replacer that lowers the original's fortify carry weight and prices.
Hi, thanks for your interest in my mod. Well I think they should work fine. The names have to be the same in order for the mod to find the meshes. There are some changes that I made to the texture sets used by the esp so that could be a problem. Maybe you can tell me which mod you use and I can take a look at it.
hi i just recently discovered your mod and from the looks of it the esp (Dr_Bandolier) is present but instructions on the CCOR requires this esp to be hidden or deleted as it is already implemented on CCOR should i also do the same on the one your mod has? BTW great mod
thank you for using my mod ! You should use the CCOR ESP that is provided with my mod if you use CCOR. The ESPs provided are exactly the same as those of the original ones except the modified entries for the bags and pouches. So use the Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade.esp for your setup and do not install the DR_Bandolier.esp.
i'm confused⦠if i wanna use bandolier upgrade and i have complete crafting overhaul remade⦠then i need to use just the ccor.esp,? or dr_bandolier and ccor.esp? And after i'll aply the bashpatch and dual sheath redux patch. pd: sorry for my bad english.
You should just use the CCOR.esp because the Dr_Banoliers.esp is integrated into the CCOR.esp. The Batched Patch and the Dual Sheath Redux Patch should always be applied at the end of your completed mod setup. So if you have other modifications in your list or you plan on loading more mods you should always rebuild the Batched Patch and the Dual Sheath Redux Patch, although I think the Bandolier's aren't integrated in those Patches. Don't forget to run LOOT afterwards.
I've had an issue with the bandolier book holders and the way they interact with light - my character's back will be in shadow and the book lights up. Looks very odd :P
I only just started looking for a solution and came upon this mod. Is that something that this mod would fix? I assume so, and I'll test whenever I get a chance to play again, but I figured I'd ask.
the meshes in my mod should work in all lighting conditions. I tested them in and outdoors. If the lighting issues stay the same then it can also be that there are different light sources in that particular cell or that the equipment that your character is wearing has different lighting settings in the nif file. Sometimes the solution is easy but sometimes it depends on multiple factors. If you use my mod and you observe the same difference in lighting please contact me again. Maybe we can find a solution.
Thanks for using my mod. I don't know exactly what you mean with three files but you can install all main files if you use the corresponding mods. When I wrote ESP, I meant the *.esp plugins. So either the DR_Bandoliers.esp or the Complete Crafting Overhaul_Remade.esp. The meshes in the files should override the original meshes. You can use those files even if you don't have Wet and Cold or other mods installed that apply visual effects to the character and NPCs. So even if you have only Bandolier - Bags and Pouches installed, the corresponding patch fixes those meshes.
I mean, can I use all three patches at the same time? (Bags and Pouches Patch, the Dawnguard - Patch & Upgrade for Bandolier) Because I have the Bandolier Dawnguard mod and Wet and Cold too
Sorry for the late reply but that clears things up. Just use the Bags and Pouches Patch and the Dawnguard Patch together. You should only use the Upgrade for Bandoliers - Bags and Pouches Patch if you have Pfuschers Mod installed. But you can use it nonetheless if you want to have the glassy effect, but you should then use the Plugin from the Upgrade for Bandoliers Patch and not the one from the Bandoliers Patch. I use Mod Organizer 2 and my load order is as follows: Bandoliers - Bags and Pouches with deactivated Dr_Bandolier.esp (leave it activated if you don't use CCOR.), Bandoliers - Bags and Pouches Patch with CCOR.esp (or Dr_Bandolier.esp if you don't use CCOR.), Upgrade for Bandolier only textures and meshes, Upgrade for Bandolier Patch with activated CCOR.esp (use Dr_Bandolier.esp when not using CCOR.) and finally Bandolier - Dawnguard followed by Bandolier - Dawnguard Patch. This should ensure that all the patches are applied. CCOR already includes the changes of Dr_Bandolier.esp so the latter one is not needed. Of course if you don't use Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade then use the Dr_Bandolier.esp. Wet and Cold changes the effect, that is applied to the meshes. That's why you will also profit from these meshes if you don't have Wet and Cold installed. Of course, you will see the Wet and Cold effect on all bags and pouches when using the patches. : )
This looks exactly what I was looking for. It bothered me that the original bandolier mod wasn't affected by Wet and Cold.
One question, though. Is this patch compatible with "Upgrade for Bandolier - Bags and Pouches by Pfuscher (Zerwas1)": https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65896
i have looked at the meshes from Pfuscher's mod and unfortunately it is only possible to have the snow effect applied without transparency. This means that you can have the environmental shader applied and thus get the shininess of the vials but the armor will not be visible from behind i.e. no transparency. The NiAlphaProperty is incompatible with the snow- or wetness shader. I have already taken my meshes and changend them to show the Environmental shader effect but i will have to ask Pfuscher for his permission first. I also had to change the ESPs of both Bandolier - Bags and Pouches and Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade and included a fix for the dark TextureSet and the wrongly named NiTriShapes. I will release the Patches as soon as I get permission.
i have gotten Pfuscher's permission and the new Patch is available in my download section. I hope you enjoy the mod. If you have questions feel free to ask.
