for anyone who wants this mod I have found a alternitive mod not sure if it will sate the requirement of the oeigial or not but it's this mod Witcher-like Sword Position by PierreDorian.
Weird that I never saw this mod before. The monsters looks nice and the contract idea is cool. Seeing as this is from 2013, anyone know if this works in Special Edition?
If you have Racemenu and XP32 Maxumum skeleton (which you should have cuz its a must for all mods these days), set up the one hand sword to be drawn from the back (from XP32 Maximum skeleton MCM menu) then adjust it on race menu on the weapon tab to your liking. Boom no extra mods needed
Okay man, I get where you're coming from. I myself happen to be of the opinion that if a mod author makes something that is a great addition to the game (or is something truly spectacular) then they should get some form of reward. I'd happily donate to mod authors whose mods I have enjoyed before, if I actually had the funding to be able to do so.
But removing the description for your mod in favor of putting up your comment/rant about paid modding is a bad practice in my opinion. The lack of description about what this mod actually does or adds to your game is crippling it in my opinion. I want to install this mod for a Witcher character I'm planning, but since I have no idea whatsoever what the mod adds I have no way of knowing if it will work with what I have in mind, or if it will even be compatible with the mods I already use. Currently my only way of seeing what is added is through the images tab, and even that's pretty vague other than some armor, monsters, spells, and some character customization options.
Again, I see where you're coming from and I even agree with you on some level. But the lack of mod description is seriously killing my desire to install it, as without the description I have little to no idea what it does.
I've pretty much forgotten about this mod since my original reason to search for Witcher-themed mods was because I wanted to recreate Geralt in Skyrim due to the fact I didn't own the Witcher games.
As of right now though, I have Witcher 1 and 2 on my PC, and Witcher 3 on PC and PS4 (my laptop can't run 3 smoothly yet so I bought it a second time for console), so I have no need of this mod anymore.
The mod is good, but the magic does not work! You make a spell, but it flies to your head! What does it mean? And yet, the neck is separate from the body! Why lay out defective fashion? Looking at the release date of the mod, I think the author has fallen, and there will be no corrections!
So glad you whined your incredibly useless opinion in the description rather than give a useful description. I am not against donating to those who mod, but imagine donating to someone so entitled. You sound like EA.
comment on your rant about the paid mod system thing. In my opinion no it isn't a good thing. modders should put up a link or something a patreon even maybe so ppl can support them if they wish no one is forcing them to either but if it's a really good mod people will support it. no one wants to use the current system for paid mods because modders barely get ANYTHING from it just a small tiny percentage. bethesda makes you have to pay for they're digital currencies for it and almost all that money goes to them not the modders so in my opinion no it isn't a good system and fk bethesda trying to pay modders modelers and programmers WAY WAY WAY less then what they are worth as if they were hired by them directly to make basically free little dlc's for them and reap the rewards. no just f*#@ no that's lazy as fk and scummy modders should get full payment or at least the majority or it not just the small pennies bethesda throws at them.
