    Why is damage to the heart set to 0 in the .ini by default? Does heart simply mean "chest"?

    Also, the 3 effects at the end of the file (decrease weapon speed and movement, and increase spell charge time) are all set to last for "360". How long is "360"? Certainly it can't mean seconds (6 minutes). Milliseconds (.36 seconds) is too short. I looked through the source files in the LE version but couldn't figure out what the time was.

      I believe the heart is set to 0 in the .ini for balance reasons. In vanilla without any combat mods enabled its very heasy to hit the chest of humanoids as they are terrible at blocking and are generally very dumb. However, if you use ultimate combat, combat gameplay overhaul, or perhaps wildcat, setting a multiplier to the heart is not a bad idea, as the AI will effectively block you and hitting the heart will not be so easy.
      Ive found the heart not to be equivalent to the chest. The heart is located in the center of the chest. Therefore, hitting the chest around the belly or to
      the sides will not trigger a heart hit.
      I have not found what the timer means. I believe you are right about not being seconds, miliseconds nor minutes. I think they are intended to be seconds but are not yet well implemented. Ive just set them to very high numbers to ensure they last until my skirmishes are over.

      Same here. I'm very interested to see how this was implemented. Also, any possibility of compiling for SSE?

    Does this work well with Ultimate combat,vigor and wildcat? Vigor adds a threshold for armor. UC adds loctional damage but, I dont notice it much and was wonder if anyone has experience in running these mods and if so, Does this mod handle it better than UC because i might just remove Ultimate combat since it doesn't add much my other combat mods do better. Thanks for any replies

      It works well, I just disabled UC locational damage in the MCM, other features are on. Vigor and Wildcat doesn't add locational damage so they'll not conflict directly, but maybe you'll need to tweak some settings to balance the game, I personally disable some features and reduce the damage of the locational damage but all depends on your load order

    Works perfectly, it's highly customizable through the .ini and 0 performance impact. Really underrated mod

    Can someone share a realistic damage setting for their .ini? Like I'm sure a headshot is more critical than a arm shot lol.

    Default is

    [Damage]
    HeadMult=1.0
    ArmsMult=1.0
    FootMult=1.0
    HeartMult=1.0
    HeavyArmorMult=0.3
    LightArmorMult=0.6
    PlayerToNPCMult=1.0
    NPCToPlayerMult=1.0
    NPCToNPCMult=1.0

      The settings depend on the mods you are using (and on your taste, of course), there are no universal settings that will suit everyone without exception.

      In my game with default ini settings I got HUGE damage to the body parts, so I change numbers:

    Hey, Felisky! Can you please change the damage calculation formula? So we be able to set damage multiplier to something like -0.25 to reduce the damage done to mob's hands and feets.

    Or partially combine this with DamageTweaks to take into account the modifier for heavy/light armor? Such as the bow does less damage to the arms and legs, slash damage is not as effective against opponents wearing heavy armor, etc.
    Great opportunities are opening up before us, mate.

    Dude, think about it, only you have that VS project with source code.)) :D
