    Thanks for checking out my character sheet system, guys! This is still a WIP with plenty of things I can potentially add to it! So if you have any questions, suggestions, or issues with it give me a shout below!

    UPDATE: Apologies for the previously broken link to the character log! I have removed it and now the log should simply be accessed by the file packaged with the template!

      Do you need libreoffice to run this?

      Yes. LibreOffice is required as the the template is a libreoffice spreadsheet. There are no other requirements.

    Have you considered/made a Fallout 4 version of this? As an avid roleplayer on both games I can confirm that Fallout needs something like this so badly

    So how do I export it as an image through LibreOffice? Every time I try to export as PNG it only exports the 'welcome' slide.

    I noticed that some entries (like favorite foods, fears, and prejudices for example) aren't added to the profile. Is this a glitch, and if not, will it be added to the profile page eventually?

    Great spreadsheet, so far I've used it to make plenty of theoretical characters I could turn into playthroughs, and it's even inspired me to make one similar, but with entirely randomly-generated data.

    My only gripe is the Pious, Personal, and External reasons were a bit unclear to me, so I went to the link you provided. Unfortunately, the pictures/charts on Tamriel Vault seem to have gone missing, which is exactly what I was trying to look for. Do you happen to have a local copy of the pictures, or at least something for us to get a clearer idea on what to write in these three textboxes? That will make life SO much easier!

    Other than that, and I'll say it again, absolutely great spreadsheet! I wish you the best of luck on future improvements to this. :D

      Pious: How/why/when does your character's actions reflects his beliefs, religious or otherwise?
      ie: Avoids killing because he thinks it is evil/because his deity say it is evil; Helps the stormcloaks because he thinks they are right. for your character is a Nord too; Shunnes the daedra/aedra completly, etc.

      Personal: How does your character achieves his personal interests, and why he thinks that's the better way?
      ie: Manipulates people however he can, because he believes in the strong > weak; Believes in justice for everyone so always achieve everything in a honorable way without hurting others; Don't think self-interest = evil, so doesn't mind lying sometimes if it means achieving personal gain without much loss from others, etc.

      External: How does your character cope with what is expected of him from society?
      ie: Follow the law; Respect tradition... To be honest, I'm not entirely sure how does that apply to Skyrim.

      In the end, pretty much all this is dictated by alignment, but here you can give deeper details, I guess.

    I really liked it, but I ran into a issue:
    - I was unable to open it using excel, had to download libreoffice. He kept giving me an error message: "We found a problem with some content in (the document). Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can?". When clicking yes, he table would get heavily deformated, and dropbox wouldn't work. I'm using the 2016 version btw;

    I'd like to make two suggestions as well:
    - Possibility to add more lines to Quirks, Destined involvement, etc.;
    - Create a checklist for in-game objectives for this character, pretty much like this mod (except you can edit everything): https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/92810?tab=files

    Could someone with the latest version of Excel that works with this resave it as an .xls file and get it added to the files category so those with older versions of Excel can also use this?

    As an avid fanfiction writer, this is an absolute life-saver!!

    I can confirm that this also works with OpenOffice.

    I'm trying to insert my own text, but starting at Primary Spell, I get an 'invalid entry error' and it won't let me add anything.

    this started happening on 0.8.5

      Yes, I just realized earlier today in fact that I hadn't turned off the Error Alerts for some of those fields. To fix it, select the field, then go to the Data menu (at the top) > Validity... > Error Alert tab, and disable "Show error message when invalid values are entered".

    Hi! This is an awesome idea. Thank you. I'll definitely give it a go when I can use my computer again.

    Heya! This looks really interesting; thanks for making it!

    Now, I understand that you said LibreOffice is the officially supported method of running the spreadsheet, but I'm running low of storage space and would rather not install that (need room for mods amirite), so I am sticking with Excel instead. While I get that Excel is not officially supported, when I open the sheet titled "Skyrim Character Developer Template Tw Cen.ods", I still get the broken link message and none of the cell references work ("#REF"). You specifically mentioned that you addressed this error, so I was just wondering if there's another step in between extracting the zip file and opening the template spreadsheet, or its just the fact that I'm using Excel. Please let me know if that is the case; if it is not, could anyone else verify that they are also having this issue with Excel?

    EDIT: I appear to have solved the issue by using an online .ods to .xlsx converter

      Thanks for including an edit on how you fixed it!
