Sorry for reviving this long dormant thread which does not seem to have any issues with the mod. In my case however, I keep reading everywhere that enabling bEnableFaceOverlays in nioverride.ini causes my game to ctd if/when my character is decapitated while wearing any of these freckles (as well as any mod that requires this setting enabled).
I installed this mod, but not having enabled bEnableFaceOverlays I can set any of the textures in my character's face. And in several slots at the same time. I have yet to have my character's head removed, but not needing to mess with nioverride makes me feel a bit relieved. Does anyone know if this has been addressed by some other mod or anything like that? Or maybe I'm missing some feature by not enabling that setting.
Well, I've tested with overlays, and you just have more layers available to put more warpaints and freckles. Some other mods requires Nioverride to work, but it's not the case of this mod, but no, are the same features of makeup available. But since my machine it's older like a chariot, and don't handle well much layers, I simply edited the .DDS images files on Photoshop, picking all the layers I liked and put on a single layer (and with this, fixing that hips gap that comes with the mod) But, if you want to use, I recommend you to use a mod who avoid Player to receive killmoves, and by extension, to be decapitated (like "Violens" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56980).
Just for the record, you can do it yourself with THIS TOOL First you have to put the route where the mod is, and the profile. Then under the textures tab tick process textures & downsizing. 2,048 x 2,048 for 2k 1,024 x 1,024 for 1k then click Run and thats it.
Im very glad, that someone put some effort into actually making this thing exist. Thank you. But i feel stupid, but, any chance for the lower-resolution version please?

Thanks for the mod by the way.
