The patch idea is cool, but it makes non-lootable items like fishing rods unusable unless crafted. I also had problems getting the object conversion to work, but it must have something to do with my mods.
while i admire that you have taken the time to make a patch for what is one of the best mods out there, any chance you could make the patch be, instead of just a patch to be placed in after a set of instructions, a replacement kind of patch? yaknow, the kind where the patch is basically the same as the mod itself, but fixed?
i'm only asking this much, because i frankly have to many mods that have these kinds of outside patches, and it honestly becomes a little bit frustrating to keep applying them like this after awhile.
It's my understanding that because I could not get permission from the author to release a new version of their file, Nexus rules require that I had to use their .esp as a master.
