This is promising, part of immersion chapter though overlooked. Probably the game would be more satisfying if, instead of dropping all worn panoply, a concept of quality, usability would be implemented... like damaged, rusty, cracked, unfit wear and weaponry would leave the player work hard for finding something useful; along with a price and economy overhaul (which would make artifacts, jewelery and enchanted weapons very rare and thus expensive) a good reason for going out and exploring. Completing set of Dwarven armor, for example, should be, as the lore suggests, an event not a banality, not to mention higher tier armors like glass or obsidian.
The ethnic concept could be pushed even further, requiring racial gear (ex: orc, dremora) to be wearable only after smith intervention.

This mod sounds awesome. I'm tracking it and will hop in on the next update. So many mods to try and not enough time haha.
Morrowind is what got me started on TES, so I like the idea of minimal scaling. Iron and leather should be everywhere at all levels, with enchanted loot and higher quality stuff much more scarce.

    Thanks

Keep up the good work, I suggest that the draugrs should only use the default ancient blade (with or without enchantment), not only because the bosses are all to strong with ebony blades, but for a "old norse warrior" realism.

I'll download when you've made some updates, this looks very promising. *Tracking*

i found a ruby/ garnit? thing inside a wolf or skeever and at first i thught what a rip, good ole bethesda lazy %^&*'s.
then i thought they could of chewed on a noble/richguy and he lost a cupple of fingers maybe with a ring on.

    loooool but a GOAT Realy?
i find gold coins on deer's or ox or whatever they are all the time.

bandits. u'd think they would of got the drop on a couple of adventurers stacked with loot and some ok weapons. so where's the big chest packed with NOT OVERKILL items cos even treasure maps dont bring in very good items worth running home to sell or improve and keep.

i'm level 12 with a orcish bow fine steel armour and a axe of whiterim lol

and yeah i'm with the idea. cant wait to try it out,cos you will probably put in a bit more time and effort cos you aint locked to a money driven deadline.
    keep up the good work

    @magnanimousmudd Lucky you
@tinghshi Weapon leveled list assigned to the bandit templates were changed. However I'm working in a different approach now. Instead of redoing the LLs, I'm altering the already existent ones, making sure I cover it all.
@turbosnowy I envision Orc and Elven (I rather call it thalmor or altmerii) as "ethnic" gear, even faction gear in the elven case. I may make it for racial bandits to have racial armors, but for now I'm focusing on making sure bandits have the right range of loot value.
    And goats too.

Just a thought but an orc using orc armour and and elf using elf armour would not be out of place - since they did invent it, use it in armies etc (or at least I imagine they would) so making all non bosses only use steel would seem even less logical? Perhaps just me

Can you explain wat was actually changed with this mod? Is it just lower level armor on bandits?

I'm level48, and I've never ran into a bandit with anything more than plate armor. Do they wear other armors at higher difficulties?

Goats with Diamonds. I've had it happen... It's crazy. Is this more or less what you're referring to? If it is, sweet~ A fix for animals having rare gemstones when really, they shouldn't.
